"I'm sorry you suddenly got together. I need to talk to you right away. Specifically... about the human councillor in Athlopolis."

Regardless, what is on the agenda is the matter of the Duke of Kingswell and Councillor Algernon.

But the faces that are neither clerks nor members of the crew - specifically Sister Ezel and his brother Dustin - are present, so I decide to start by double-checking from basic information.

- The beginning of the matter goes back to before the reunification of the continent by the Kingdom of Westland.

The place where there is currently an authorized entrance to the 'Millennium Corridor of Nara' has become the direct royal palace jurisdiction under His Majesty's direct rule, but before the territorial reorganisation with reunification it belonged to the territory of the historical Duke of Kingswell.

Since that time, the brother of the current Duke has somehow been attracted to the labyrinth, which was perceived as a dungeon with nothing to gain but difficulty, and which was not valued by people other than those who believe in the divinity known as the Wise Man… i.e., Councillor Algernon.

Algernon was more enthusiastic about his own investigation of the labyrinth than about inheriting the house, and for that reason he was limited from the previous Duke, to whom his brother's current Duke was to inherit.

After that, Algernon continued his research, ignoring incidents such as continental reunification and territorial change. He was even immersed, and eventually, during the search for the "Millennium Corridor of Naruto," he was cut off from the news -

"Back and forth with this, a request for rescue came to the Kingdom of Westland from the back of The Millennium Corridor in Narrow."

"Dwarf's request to complain about the threat of Demon King Gandalf... that's why Lord Luke was hired by the brave Falcon to dive into the labyrinth."

"Oh. Then I was left behind in the back of the labyrinth, and somehow I survived thanks to the evolution of my [restoration] skills... for the Duke, he said, my survival was not a very negligible project"

- Algernon left a large amount of research material and absurd hypotheses out of the news, but neither of them were taken seriously by the Duke's family, nor were they reported to the Royal Palace merely for proper storage.

Because that hypothesis was too out of common sense, and if seriously published, the opposite could have been the content of sanity that could have been questioned.

But the fact that my skills were evolving from the labyrinth could have corroborated some of Algernon's absurd hypotheses.

Although publication is a hypothesis of hesitation, if failure to report leads to the detriment of the kingdom, it gives the political enemy a great name for the attack.

So the Duke decided to be prepared so that he could fall either way.

He put a proper charge on me, put me under surveillance by the Knights of the Silver Wings, and put me in an unknown position to respond quickly, no matter what, without revealing anything to anyone about my brother's research.

It was, of course, an unpleasant act for me, but it turned out to lead to the early discovery of the demon king's army's plans, and to minimize the damage -

"That's fine. Because the Duke's self preservation just rolled in a good direction with his injury feat. The problem lies in the fact that there were incidents that occurred at the same time... the serial piecemeal killings in the King's Capital, the night Rippers, were connected."

- The Ripper of the Night (Nighttripper) case. Serial hunting murders that made Wang Du noisy.

Sometimes the cruelty at the knees of His Majesty the King made the investigation so massive that Roy from the A-rank Adventurer's Hundred Beast Plains was also dispatched by the Adventurer Guild.

Eventually, after a major commotion involving me and Garnett, it turned out that the real killer was a highly autonomous doll disguised as a human being.

It's a substitute for modern human technology, no matter what you think, to be an autonomous doll who behaves indistinctly from humans.

This alone was quite a surprise, but later revealed more incredible facts.

All the victims of the Night Ripper incident were actually adventurers who had been hired by Algernon to dive into the Millennium Corridor of Naruto -

"Consolidating the various pieces of information leading up to this point, the mastermind that sent in the Ripper of the Night (Night Tripper) and the" True Enemy "that once defeated the Demon King's Army are likely to be the same force. And..."

"I mean, I guess this is what this is all about"

Dustin, previously quietly listening to the explanation, pinches his mouth along the way with a sharp voice.

"It is possible that no other Algernon himself gave the adventurer's information to the 'true enemy'. The person was captured by a 'true enemy' during a dungeon quest and was thought to have been spit out information...... no?

"... that's just quick to understand. Or did you know that from the beginning?

There was no particular response from Dustin, so I decided to let the explanation resume for now.

- Here's the most prominent hypothesis that the White Wolf Knights (us) took over the task.

The so-called 'true enemy' wanted to keep some kind of secret hidden in the 'Millennial Corridor of Naruto', but the Demon King's Castle area, which was spreading in front of him, was suppressed by the Demon King's Army and he couldn't grasp how it was, and he was forced to send gestures from another route to the ground to gather information.

In the middle of it (or less), capture Algernon, who had broken through the 'Demon King's Castle realm' on his own, and grasp the fact that he was investigating the 'Millennium Corridor of Naruto'.

It's a hypothesis that because of the seal of his mouth, he was letting the Ripper of the Night (Knight Ripper) kill the adventurers he heard from him...

"But the key, Algernon, resided in the councillor of a neutral city rather than in captivity. Besides, Noir says he may be able to follow the White Wizard's Bran, which was thought to be dead"

"That's why previous assumptions could be turned upside down. Well, there's gonna be an emergency call."

Brave Ezel nods firmly with a convincing face.

Eddie the squire also spoke his opinion with seriousness.

"Will we make the pursuit of Algernon councillors the backbone of our activities in the future?

"No, the top priority is to create a human base of activity in this town. As it stands, we have no scaffolding, no back shield, and the rootless grass is the same, but they make a solid foundation for the councilman."

Just to be clear, we're in a pretty precarious state right now compared to Algernon.

The pursuit of the truth is also essential, but unless we finish scaffolding first, it will even be difficult to stand around properly.

"With the primary goal of working with prospective adventurers to inaugurate the base, let's move forward with gathering information to the extent that we can do so in parallel. Besides, I have to give the admin Fraxinus the information."

It's hard to believe that Algernon is not hiding information against him from admin Fraxinus.

If we share information from a different point of view... especially the fact that we suspect a relationship with a 'true enemy', Fraxinus may change Algernon's treatment as well.

"Lord Luke. What should we do about Bran? Will this be reserved for gathering information?"

Sakura reluctantly throws questions with concern about the noir.

"Oh, right. Saying this in front of your flesh parents may lack consideration... but even if you looked like Bran and there was a guy named Bran, you wouldn't be able to say it was really Bran, would you?

"... you're certainly right. Even if the flesh belongs to Blanc, it doesn't necessarily mean the personality belongs to Blanc."

"I just want to get rid of my predictions as much as I can. Gather information to avoid any preconceived notions of truth, life or death."

Not only Sakura who asked the question, but Noir also seemed to understand my statement properly, and he lay down his face with a sinking face.

The outside (Miso) and the inside (Nanami) do not match - we have come across such cases many times before.

For example, Demon General Norzuri.

He loses his original flesh of flexion in the war and even uses different genders of dark elf flesh as a substitute.

Sakura's father, for example.

This one, like Norzuri's provisional first flesh, has been used as a vessel for the Demon General Suzuri.

For example, the Night Ripper.

Those dolls were embedded in human society by applying exteriors that resembled real humans and replacing them.

There is no guarantee anywhere that 'someone to name Bran' is really Bran that Algernon is able to comply, and there is no denying the possibility that the body is even being used for disguise.

Or so it's also dangerous to act in the assumption that you can't be alive.

It is my opinion on this matter that it would be best to gather information on 'who' with Bran's name and appearance without as much preconceptions as possible.

"One last thing. Try to go out with at least two of us for the time being. We're gonna sit back and get ready, but we're not gonna have to sue the other guy in a hurry."

I told everyone to be careful, and I decided to mark the end of this meeting.
