"Now take a look at your materials"

Ten days after I told everyone about my plan to open a branch.

The Forest Side Facility at Hollow Bottom Fortress was paid down to the Adventurers Guild as expected, and recruitment for stores (tenants) targeting Green Hollow residents began.

Apparently, the subject is limited to Green Hollow Town residents in return for cooperating in the Demon King's War.

They take this as a primary call, and if vacancies remain, secondary calls will be launched for other regions as well.

And today, we rented out the town assembly hall, and a briefing was being held for the hopeful of primary recruitment.

"Erm. The Golden Tooth Knights Hollow Bottom Fortress. Refurbished from Zone I, Adventurer Guild Hollow Bottom Branch will use 20% of the floor area as the exclusive space of the Guild to operate the remaining 80% and some of the outdoors as rentals"

The female staff seconded by the guild explains in a rather my-paced tone before the residents gathered in the assembly hall.

It's roughly my generation, and the time when they called me a girl is long gone, but it's still too early to be described as getting old - this is the place to be if you want to evaluate it objectively.

I'm sure as anyone but me, I don't imagine she's more than just a clerk.

Well, he's a relaxed person to see, so I can't help it.

"White Wolf's. The Alliance Branch is an important hub."

Garnett, who followed the briefing, has confirmed the meaning of the term in a small voice.

"Don't be. Guildhouses are towns and villages, and Guild branches are outposts in cities and places of high importance."

"Exploring the realm of Demon King's Castle is a matter of guild importance."

"It's been a long time since I've discovered a new dungeon. Well, that's tempting. And there's a deeper realm, and there's something unidentified living there."

From our point of view, "Demon King Castle Realm" has a strong image of a battlefield that fought the Demon King's army to the death, but from the side, it is an unknown dungeon in which not all areas have yet been explored.

A rocky mountain area where the Warcraft ecosystem is built, culminating in dragons.

A mysterious ancient ruin that spreads to the bottom of a rocky mountain that has been abandoned because it is not involved in the war.

Unprecedented underground areas spread ahead of the demon king's army's retreat.

All of that doesn't interest adventurers.

"Er, pages five to ten of the dossier contain a list of spaces and rental fees that we can offer you. Of course, the wider the higher. Give up on all this."

Laughter leaked somewhere in the venue.

"As soon as this briefing is over, we will begin accepting applications. It's not on a first-come, first-served basis, and there's a little room until the deadline, so please take the time to consider it in consultation with your budget"

After the briefing, I decided to take a trip to the back of the assembly hall before returning home.

"Hey, White Wolf's. Can I help you with something?"

"I don't have any business, but I thought I'd say hello. Florence has known each other since we were rookies."

"... Florence? Is that the moderator from earlier? He's an adventurer, too."

"I was up to B-rank eventually, but now I'm off the other line. It's not uncommon for adventurers to turn to the guild's operational side."

"Hmmm......"

We get to the holding room behind the rally point, with a slightly less visible gaze thrown from the garnet.

And as he tried to knock on the door, he was spoken to with a relaxed voice from behind the hallway.

"Oh. I know someone here."

Florence, who looked like she was finishing her return run, approached me on a small run and stopped in front of me.

"Long time no see, Luke. I've heard a lot of rumors. Should I have brought you a new job celebration or something?

"Looks like you needed a promotion celebration this way. You're the head of the Hollow Bottom Branch."

"Oh, I already found out"

"He said it's weirder not to notice. That coat, it's gonna be paid to the Branch Manager."

While Florence and I were having a conversation between acquaintances, Garnett was watching it with whatever expression was difficult.

It's like I'm surprised, angry.

It's a face that seems alert or indifferent.

"When I was looking for a place just right for Lisa's tranquillity, she asked me if I would work for her new branch. It's been a mess lately, but it's been a reputable sanatorium for a long time."

"Sure. I heard you had a lot of customers for that purpose."

"Isn't it? By the way...... who is this cutie?

Florence turned her gaze to Garnett as she tilted her little neck.

No other intention. It was just a fact-checking, but Garnett didn't try to solve the kind of attitude that pushed the grump to death.

It's just a feeling from the side, but it looks like Garnett himself isn't going to have a reaction on his face.

While he seems to strive to maintain his usual attitude, something is actually seeping out of the inside without knowing... such an atmosphere.

"It's our staff garnet. He said he was cute, but he's still a man."

"Oh, I'm sorry. This is Florence, Director of the Hollow Bottom Branch. Nice to see you again."

"... Regards"

Asked by Florence to shake his hand, Garnett unfathomably shook back the hand offered.

At that time, Florence muttered "Oh," and curiously circled her eyes.

"You, could... No, I'm sorry. It's nothing. I want to stay with the White Wolf Store forever, so please get along."

Florence smiled softly and pounded her hand, turning again to me.

"Then I'm around here. Because it's time to pick up Lisa."

Say hello to Lisa, too.

"Yeah, I'll see you later"

Florence walks away once and for all.

Shortly after that, after his figure disappeared across the corner of the hallway, Garnett kicked his leg lightly without looking at this one.

It was a slight blow from the physical abilities of the vegetables, not using enhancement skills.

"Hey here. Don't stretch it under your nose. We've been dating for a long time, but it's not the same as it was when Alexia."

"He didn't do that. For the most part, Alexia is a handy junior, and he's an old friend, so it's only natural that he handles things differently."

While the factual misidentification is corrected immediately and thoroughly, important information is added at the end.

"Just in case, I'll teach you not to make a strange mistake, but he's got a kid."

"What!? Oh, my God!

"It's often said that adventurers are too enthusiastic about adventure to marry late, but the exception to everything is the guy."

It is assumed that the marriage age has risen nationwide these days, among which adventurers are said to be strongly inclined to do so.

A long time ago or two, they used to have kids around Garnett quite early, but in recent years it has become rare, and celibacy like me is not uncommon in the adventurer industry.

Well, the profession of adventurer is a far cry from the idea of having a family and consolidating oneself, no matter what anyone thinks.

"No, you didn't... you didn't look that old..."

"Tell him in person. I'm sure you'll be happy."

Turn your foot to the back entrance of the assembly hall as you are about to blow out unexpectedly into Garnett's hasty and fuzzy reaction.

"By the way, that's the name of Florence's daughter that came up earlier. He's about four or five years younger than you."

"Eh, that's pretty big..."

Garnett rushing to keep pace.

Just walking out of the rally hall as it was, Garnett showed her scattered troubles before throwing questions at me.

"I kind of wondered, didn't I? It's really not a big deal... you and him, how many things used to be... people (...), people (...), people (...), people (...)?

"Ah! Hey, and an instant answer!

That may or may not have happened in the past.

I don't think it matters as far as I'm concerned... it seemed different to Garnett anyway.
