( One day before the fight )

Max by now had a general idea about his brother's old abilities, after spending an extensive amount of time studying old footage.

There was only a single clip available about Eden's fight within Sigma, where he was seen taking on a group of 15 orcs alone, using dual wielding as his chosen format of battle and performing moves similar to his brother.

Immediately Max noticed that while the execution of his brother was clean, the technique used by Eden was not nearly as precise and deadly as his brothers.

The attacks used by him were filled with micro-imperfections that could be neutralised easily using [ Disperse ]

In the upcoming fight, the moves he needed to be on the lookout for were [ Solar Flash ] an attack that could blind the opponent by basically operating like a flashbang.

[ Solar Beam ], A tier 4 blast of condensed sunlight that was both incredibly hot and packed with power.

[ Twin Blade Hurricane ], A never ending barrage of sword slashes that came in from all directions and left the opponent immobile and unable to dodge.

[ Blink ] a short-range instant teleportation spell.

These were the four moves that Eden was known to use often and apart from these there were 3 class specific attacks in his arsenal that Max had no information on.

According to the humans that the True Elites had managed to bribe on the other side to betray their kind, the ultimate attack that Eden used during the final war in Omega was so powerful that it knocked down a tier 6 god's HP from 30% to 0 in one strike.

It was a massive energy blast, so strong that the ground below their feet turned into a canyon and left Eden immobile from the Backlash.

If his personal understanding was not wrong, the description of the move seemed very similar to his brother's unique move the ' Elite Blast ', but a very watered down version of it.

Max had seldom felt jealousy after his reincarnation, however, this was one of those moments where he felt incredibly jealous of Eden.

His brother's greatest move was handed down to him for free by the universal queen as a legacy skill.

Apart from the attacks, he needed to be wary of Eden for his unpredictability.

The boy was a little crack in the brain and could not be measured by common sense.

If Max was not careful, the idiot could take an attack head-on instead of dodging like normal people, just to create an opportunity to inflict even more damage.

The biggest handicap that Max had in this fight was him not being able to use the Agni-Astra or his Shaman powers, leaving him with a very limited pool of attacks to use.

But despite the handicap, Max was confident in his victory because of his superior agility, constitution and strength compared to the knight.

Although having a balanced approach made one a warrior without any obvious flaws, it also made them unable to express either offensive or defensive abilities to the limit.

Max had taken a stat maximisation approach but even then, he focused on his offensive stats the most, which was why he was much faster than Eden.

Having understood his strengths and weaknesses, Max began finding solutions to his enemies strengths as he thought about possible attack sequences that could be moulded to his advantage.

From time to time, Neatwit did visit him asking questions like if he needed a better armour or a sparring partner to train with, but Max refused.

All he needed was a pen and paper alongside some peace and quiet to win this match tomorrow.

( Meanwhile Ruby and Naomi )

Ruby : Neatwit dropped by today, he wanted to know if we will accompany him to the VIP box to view the match tomorrow?

Naomi : Oh, what do you think we should do?

Ruby : I'm willing to go and cheer Max on, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to bring kids along.

Naomi : Are you suggesting one of us stays back? Because I kinda wanna come too…

Ruby : Oh no, no. This is a big affair, just yesterday I was arguing with some dumb people on the forums who think that the accomplishment of our Max killing Rose Medici was a hoax, I'm telling you those people are brainless idiots.

Naomi : Me too, I want to be there to witness the satisfaction of seeing their representative beat down.

Naomi : We got a bit sidetracked, So what do we do about the kids?

Ruby : I can try calling Anna over, she can babysit them for a few hours, no?

Naomi : Your sister? Is she good with children?

Ruby : You have some other alternative?

Naomi : Not really…no, I mean Patricia is there but I'm not sure if asking a patriarch of a monarchy to babysit three children is a good idea.

Ruby : Indeed, I could have entrusted them to my father on vanaheim, but I'm afraid he would become so fond of Kartikeya that he wouldn't give him back at all.

Naomi : About that…. Don't you think it's too early for him to already be able to fly? He's not even 2 and has more mana reserves than an average level 30 human, definitely not normal.

Ruby : It's not like Jake is not progressing at an alarming pace… yesterday he kicked the tree in the garden in anger and it was uprooted….

Naomi : It's all Rudra's fault, him and his damned genes.

Ruby : Indeed, the boys are rowdy, only our Amy is the sweetest.

The two women thought that Amy was the only normal one of the three, but little did they know that she was the one progressing the fastest having already learned two healing spells to basic proficiency.

At four, she could already cast [ Lesser Heal ] and [ Burn Removal ] successfully and often used it to treat the injuries of her brothers when they bruised their knees while playing in the garden.

While her learning the spells itself was fine, the truly ridiculous part was that she had learnt it not from a teacher but from watching Naomi cast it a few times on his brothers and learnt to do the same on her own, using her own comprehension.
