Meeting My Abductor Again

The night that Styles had been drunk was forgotten since it was Him and I that only knew. I didn't bring it up. If he wanted to bring it up he could but it was not my place to meddle with his business. Dante and I were becoming good friends.

I was getting ready because I was told that tonight I would be going on my first mission with the other girls and I was excited. Dante had nodded in approval that I was ready.

I was getting dressed in all black. I couldn't let them down. They had faith in me that I could do it and tonight I would prove to them that I was more than capable of doing that.

I tie up my hair in a pony and I secure it. I go out to the front where there said we should all meet. I find all the other girls already there. They are smoking. "Cute" as Jane assess my outfit. I can tell that she is mocking me.

"Do you want some before we leave" and this time its Matilda who is holding out a cigarette. "No thanks. I don't smoke."

They all burst out laughing as if its some kind of joke. "She is too gentle." As Layla scoffs at me. "You better not ruin anything new girl." As she carries on. "I won't" as I try to sound way more confident than I felt.

A black car arrives, and they all throw their cigarettes on the ground and they step on them until they are extinguished. They get into the car and I follow behind them. Inside Styles and Dante are sitting opposite to us.

I can feel Styles assessing me. "Are you all ready?" as he asks us. "Yes" as we all say in unison. I know that we have arrived when the car slows down and then it comes to a halt.

"Talia you will come with me." Before I could answer Cassie cuts me off "Boss she is a junior I think someone a bit more trained should come with you."

"It's okay. I think she would be safer with me in any case." I realize that Styles and I are dropping off. I notice that Styles is wearing a suit. "I am going to go and do some dealings. I need you to go and take this blueprint. It's in one of the other rooms at the back. The blueprint is the reason we are here, and I am going to hold them off while you steal it."

My blood is high on adrenaline. "Yes Sir!" Before I leave Styles takes my mask that is resting on my neck and he covers my face. He looks at me directly in the eye "Be careful."

"You too" as I say it in a low tone so that people don't hear us.

I run to the room as Styles is going to distract the dealers. I creep slowly at the back making sure I don't make a sound. I get a bit worried at the thought that there might be a lot of guards. When I walk through, I see they are being distracted by Cassie, Jane, Matilda and Layla.

Makes sense as to why we all went. Cassie notices me and she looks away as I creep through. I open the room that I was told to go to and I start searching frantically for the blueprint where could it be? I keep on searching but I can't find it and I feel as though I am running out of time.

I had to get my head in the game. Obviously, this blueprint was hidden in a very secret place. I start to feel on the floor and I found what I was looking for a secret compartment.

I open it and bingo I found it. I take it out and tuck it back into my belt.

I could sense that there was someone behind me. I immediately do exactly what Dante had taught me, and I swing back. But the person averts, and we start a series of blows and punches. It was one of the guards that were here.

I had to give it my all. I could not manage to disappoint anyone. I kick his walkie talkie that he tries to grab. I land a good blow which lands him on his knees. All of a sudden there is a silent sound and the guy is on the ground. Someone shot him before I manage to turn around.

I hear the sound again and there is huge pain on the right side of my chest as I fall down. I see that there is blood oozing from it.

He walks up to me and takes the blueprint as I am stuck on the ground. I felt helpless. I was going to disappoint them after all. My eyes are closed shut. The pain is too much for me to focus on him.

I can hear him take out his gun. "Any last words?" I don't open my eyes or saying anything. "I will do you the honor of seeing your killer before you die."

I turn away my face, but he brings it back to place. I open my eyes as he rips off the mask. "No Talia! No!" as he sinks to the ground and he cradles me in his arms.
