Meeting My Abductor Again

I woke up the next day and Axel was already gone, a maid came in and she gave me breakfast. I ate and I was told to go to my normal room and get ready for my train session with Mars. It really bothered me how people acted as if nothing had happened at all even when I met up with Mars.

As the days went by, I decided to do the same, I had to be strong eventually. So I started practising everyday. I put up a front but little did others know I was dying on the inside. I couldn't stop thinking about the guy who almost raped me and the blood.

I had never seen someone die and let alone have someone's blood on me. I didn't sleep at all, I would watch the door all night long, and I barely ate if I didn't at all because I would feel like vomiting or I would vomit.

Today Axel and London had come to watch a routine that Mars and the other girls had prepared for tomorrow's event it was . at least tomorrow was Saturday and we would only be performing at night, and that meant I could sleep the whole day.

It was 20:03pm.

I was a tad nervous and I rubbed my eyes, that I had put ice on because they were red from the lack of sleep. Mars came, "make me proud, they are watching" and we all knew she meant Axel and London.

You guys can stand anywhere on the stage but make sure you are visible and dance your hearts out. "Ready girls" Mars asked. "Yes" we all responded. We all went out and I stood at the back row and I noticed I earned a frown from Mars. When she was about to comment, someone called her, and she went out the door.

We thought we would wait for her, but the music started. I started dancing, but I could tell I was off key and my moves were sloppy. I was trying to not black out. I tried my best but I was behind all the other girls.

Then I caught a glimpse of Axel and London, they were whispering something amongst themselves, then they looked up and I could tell they were fixated on me. The routine finished and I was relieved.

I started to see double and I quickly snuck away and I was stumbling to my room, when I got there I got in and I shakily closed the door. Before I reached my bed I fell on the floor. I was too weak to even get up, so I just gave up and I curled on the floor.

I looked up and I could see the intruder from the other night, and he had come back to finish what he had started. I panicked, and started to inch back, his face came close to mine, I could see his cruel eyes.

I started to tremble, and I let out a scream. "Talia, wake up." I opened my eyes and I saw Axel and London had rushed to my side. "What is it?" London asked. "Nothing" I responded too quickly.

Axel looked at London, "London leave, I need to speak to Talia." London nodded and walked out Axels door, and closed it behind him.

Axel sat on the bed side chair, and I sat up groggily. "Why didn't you tell me!" Axel asked in a demanding tone. I shrank back. "Answer me!" I looked at Axel "I don't know what you are talking about."

"Talia I'm in no fucking mood!" he growled at me. Then he carried on his rant. "I saw you at the dance rehearsals, You looked like you were ready to faint, and when London and I followed you, you were passed out!. To make it worse the maids told me that you barely ate any of your food!"

I tried to respond to Axel "I..."

"Shut up Talia!, the doctor was examining you whilst you were passed out and he said you haven't slept in for a whole damn week! Why didn't you tell me?"

I looked down at my hands and said nothing. I didn't know how to respond. "I'm sorry" I squeaked out. Axels face softened as he looked at me.

"It's not your fault" he sighed.

I looked at the bed side and I saw it was 23:03. I yawned a bit, and then I saw Axel get up and I panicked a bit. I didn't want to be alone.

He went to his bathroom. I laid back down, I heard him come back, I looked to make sure and my face flushed red as I saw he was only wearing boxers. Then he switched off the lights and got into his bed.

He pulled me into his arms and I felt warm and something else, I felt safe. My shoulders sagged as they relaxed. He kissed the top of my head. "Go to sleep, I'm right here."
