LIFE BEGINS AT 40

I giggled silently peeked at her; her face was red I found it cute as I told her I would send her to her car in the parking lot or send her home.

She refused and told me she can manage then she rushed out from my office as fast as she could. I watched her from my office window to see her off.

I stepped out from my office to go home and rest. We have a day off and Christmas is not my thing to spend with my children and grandchildren who has been too far from my place. They might enjoy their time with in laws.

Since our family separated, I never spend Christmas with family eating together and I get used to it. My staffs in club and other businesses are my family. That is why last night I let them enjoy drinking while working but not too much.

A quickie shower and done eating I went straight to my bedroom. I turned the tv on and saw Home Alone movie has been playing on the Netflix. Yeah, great I am home alone right now. Lying down in my bed, cannot get over with what I had spent with Erine last night.

I want to sleep but I cannot go back to sleep, I got up and opened my closet. I choose to wear gray undershirt and coat with jeans.  I grabbed my car keys, phone and wallet. I am going somewhere than wasting my time lying alone in my bed. I am hoping my destination will be worth it.

It took 10 minutes from my house to the destination I was planning to go. I was in front of the door pushing the doorbell. I waited for a while then I heard footsteps coming. Thank goodness, I thought nobody's home.

The door opened, a sleepy Erine was in front of me I wanted to hug her right away but there is still a screen door before the main door attach.

Her eyes were wide open as she saw me standing in front of her. I smiled widely as I waved my hand.

"Hi, there." I said then I scanned her attire she wears. The weather is quite cold because it is winter season but her outfit she was wearing seems like for summer. A slightly thick baggy black long sleeve shirt, shorts and socks that is not quite for winter. 

She quickly unlocked the screen door and asked, "B-boss, what are doing here?"

"Are you going to let me in?" I said as I raised my brows. 

"Oh, I am sorry. Come on in." she apologized as she moved to the side to give way as I entered inside. "Have a sit."

"Are you alone? Is your son here?" I asked as I sit on the couch in the living room.

"Yes, no, he went out with his friends and be back by 8." She said as she sits across with me. I smirked that she did not notice. Then I looked at her from head to toe and landed my eyes to her thighs.

She suddenly aware where my eyes spotted because she stood up and say, "Oh gosh, I-I better changed." She said as she almost wants to run away but I followed her.
