[Hated Hero, Enthusiastic]

Jarvis managed to safely get changed, but this was just the beginning, she still couldn’t let her guard down.

I also had to pay close attention to prevent Jarvis from giving anything out… With such a strange sense of tension, our first water magic practical began.

For starters, the teacher poured mana into the pool.

After which, the surface of the water gradually rose, eventually forming a large column of water that appeared as though it was going to pierce into the sky. After that, it took another form, a giant water wolf, who then kneeled in front of the teacher.

This was what we would be practicing today.

By imbuing the water with mana, you could change its shape and even have it move around like a living creature.

Forming non-living things such as swords, bows, and shields from the water wasn’t particularly difficult. In fact, most of the students were capable enough to produce such things.

However, forming living things as the teacher demonstrated earlier required a fairly high level of skill.

“Next, Raul Lorenz.”

“Yes!”

Raul was called before me and Jarvis.

Just like in【The Rise of the Weakest Holy Swordsman】Raul had been training under Holy Knight Klaus… I wondered just how much had he leveled up.

“Here I go…” Raul closed his eyes, holding out the Demon Sword in front of him.

And after a while, mana overflowed his body.

“T-this…” The teacher unintentionally leaked out a voice of surprise.

I was surprised as well.

Raul should have had the lowest stats among all the students. But after undergoing intense training with Holy Knight Klaus, it was clear that his stats had now risen to among the tops. I supposed it simply meant that he had that much room for growth to start with… Holy Knight Klaus, who had seen through that, was truly impressive as well.

“Haa!”

Raul kneaded his mana into—a bird.

The water bird gracefully fluttered in the sky before descending in front of Raul, bowing its head as if pledging allegiance.

“Stunning, Raul Lorenz!” The teacher applauded, and the other students followed. Raul smiled embarrassedly, seemingly happy.

…Good.

He apparently had been treated as an eyesore after his berserk incident; I was glad to see that the others had warmed up to him.

“Next, Jarvis Lekrust.”

“Yes!’

Jarvis was up next.

Although she outwardly appeared to be a boy, she was a girl inside.

She had picked swimwear with a design that covered her whole body.

…No matter how modest her chest size was, a very, very smallbulge was inevitable.

As a matter of fact…

“H-hey… don’t you think there’s something different about Jarvis today?”

“Y-yeah, though I can’t put my finger on it…”

“I don’t know why, but when I look at him, my face gets strangely hot.”

“W-what is this feeling?”

Several boys voiced out their thoughts.

…At this rate, some of them may go down the unstraight path.

In spite of my growing concerns, Jarvis kneaded her mana and created a water serpent. Its size was much larger than Raul’s bird.

“Oh! Brilliant! I see we have a lot of excellent students this year!” The teacher exclaimed in great admiration.

The other students applauded.

…It was kind of hard to get to the front, now.

“Next, Barret Albers.”

“Yes!”

Finally, it was my turn.

Both Raul and Jarvis were steadily growing in power.

As someone who had been bestowed with the Holy Sword, I couldn’t let myself fall behind them.

“Ha!”

I released the mana I’d put into the Holy Sword. Immediately, the water in the pool swirled and rose to create a swirling water pillar, which then began to transform—eventually taking the form of a giant dragon.

Mhm.

The Holy Sword was in good form today.

“““““Uooooooooooo?!”””””

Perhaps because it was too showy, some of the students were so shocked that they even tried to run away. I could properly control my mana; the dragon was under my complete control despite its ferocious appearance, so it wouldn’t attack anyone. That was, unless I ordered it.

“That’s Lord Barrett for you!”

“Oh dear, stealing the spotlight, aren’t we?”

Raul sounded excited, whereas Jarvis half-exasperated half-amazed.

In any case, glad it went well.
