Journey Towards Greatness

After calming down Crystal and the rest of his team, Julian brought his attention back to Marshadow.

Since he still has some time, he decided to see how much Marshadow has learned by himself in the wild.

He learned from Gengar that Marshadow has known him for quite a while and had learned a few tricks from Gengar.

So Julian asks Marshadow to display his best move.

On Julian's instruction, Marshadow creates a shadow ball that is compact and filled with ghost energy. Julian is impressed as he feels the power radiating from the shadow ball, but then Marshadow started to create more shadow balls and added to Julian's surprise.

These shadow balls then started to spin around Marshadow, and with every second, the speed of these shadow balls increased, creating a dark hallow around Marshadow.

Julian is surprised to see this. This is the signature move that he teaches his pokemons. He didn't expect Marshadow to already know how to use it.

Now completely impressed by his new pokemon, Julian wanted to see what else he has in store for in the future. He then spent the next hour learning more about Marshadow and all his abilities.

He learned that Marshadow has great control over his energy and aura, but there is still room for improvement. Though he is a little older than his other pokemons, he is not bothered by it because of Marshadow's status as a legendary pokemon.

They don't age very fast, and they have a lot of time to grow in strength.

After learning almost everything about Marshadow, Julian placed him directly under Gengar's care. Since Marshadow is most comfortable with Gengar, it is best for him to hang out with Gengar than any other pokemon.

Marshadow will also learn from the best ghost type pokemon in Julian's team, and there is also Aegislash who can teach Marshadow in ways even Gengar will not able to do so, as Aegislash is a genius, he understands energy and aura better than any of Julian's pokemons, except Infernape.

Right now, Julian has no need to focus his attention on Marshadow when his other new pokemons need it much more, till his other pokemons catch up. He will leave Marshadow in the hands of Gengar and Aegislash.

It was time for Julian to head back to the town he was staying at as he has nothing else to do. He has found his pokemon and he won't be wasting any more of his time searching for a pokemon that lives up to his expectations.

Returning to the town, he spent his time looking around and eating the variety of food he could find in the food stalls and stores around the town. He discovered that Akala island's food consists of mainly milk products but it doesn't bother Julian.

Some of the best foods are made with milk. Along with him, Crystal also drowned in the delicious cuisines of this town, almost getting drunk from them. Seeing this, Julian had to put an end to Crystal's actions before it becomes fat and chunky.

Julian returned to his hotel room and slept in for the day. The next day was nothing special. He continued to train his pokemon and also spent some time with Marshadow to build up a strong bond with him.

And just like that, a few days passed. The only reason Julian stayed behind on Akala island is his promise to Kahuna Olivia that he will help her deal with the volcano problem that might soon plague the island of Akala and today should be the day he will meet her again.

Just as he was about to contact her to find out if they were ready to head into the volcano or not, Olivia reached out to him first with a message.

[Meet me at my house. The geologist team is here] the message read.

Julian put away his phone and got ready. He hopped on his Charizard's back and flew towards Wela volcano where Olivia was waiting for him.

It didn't take long for Julian to get there as Charizard flew fast. When he got there, he could see Olivia waiting for him and along with her were a few people with big equipment cases in their hands.

Charizard flew down and landed right in front of Olivia and the surrounding people. The sudden appearance of a massive Charizard startled them except for Olivia, but after seeing a man sitting on top of the Charizard, the men calmed down.

Olivia "Guys, this is Julian. You all should know him. We will be accompanying us into the volcano"

Olivia introduced Julian to the group.

These people, of course, knew Julian as they were not from the islands, and Julian is very famous outside the Alola islands.

Seeing that Julian himself was going to accompany them into the volcano, these people got excited. As everyone knew with him around, they will not be in any danger.

The ladies in the group were especially very excited to see him.

Julian smiled and greeted them one by one.

Including him and Olivia, there are 10 people who will embark on the volcano. These eight people are here to study the activities inside the volcano and predict when it is exactly going to erupt and maybe also find the cause of its premature eruption. While Julian and Olivia will be in charge of their safety.

The wela volcano is a very dangerous place, not only is it extremely hot inside, but the pokemons that inhabit it are also very territorial and will attack anyone that enters their territory.
