Journey Towards Greatness

Chapter 1291: Akala Island

So much information to digest, and Julian can't do it here in the middle of the jungle, so he decided to head back, sit on his comfortable, luxurious hotel couch and give it some thought.

He called out Charizard from his Pokeball and rode it back to the town.

He got back to his hotel room and found it empty. Jenny must have woken up and returned to her work. Julian turned on the air conditioner and sat down on the comfortable couch.

Julian "Cipher seems to be much more organized and secretive than I thought. From the information I obtained, only the scientist working behind the scene know what's really going on inside Cipher, as they are the ones who turn normal pokemons into shadow pokemons.

The three admins that I have got to know are not that deeply involved with the creation of shadow pokemons. They are the guns of the organization and handle most of the physical work, but there are more important admins in the organization that have remained hidden"

Julian spoke out loud as he put all the information in order.

Julian "There is no reason to dwell on this when I can't do anything about them right now. Let's deal with whatever is in front of me. Melemele island is not the only island I need to keep my eye on.

The other islands are also massive and filled with unique pokemons, especially Totem pokemons. There are more discovered totem pokemons on other islands than in Melemele, meaning there might be more hidden ones that can be found.

I also need to build up my arsenal and collect more z-crystals as well.

With everything I have experienced till now, I know something bad will happen, no matter where I go and what I do. I thought this world will be peaceful, but I never expected it to be so chaotic.

What did I expect from a world filled with animals that can control nature's elements"

Julian spoke out and sighed. He could have never fathomed his life would be so different from what he thought it would be.

Julian "To Akala then, but first, I need to inform principal Samson"

Julian spoke aloud and sent Samson and message through his phone. He also informed Jenny that he won't be in Melemele for a few days.

After settling everything that needs to be settled, Julian walked out of the hotel, got on top of his Charizard, and flew towards Akala island.

As he left Melemele island and flew over the water, Gyarados lifted his head out of the water to see Julian and started to follow him to Akala as well.

Akala is very different from Melemele island. The temperature here is higher because the island is an active volcano. The molten magma that sits dormant underground is very active and there is always vocational leakage of it from the top.

But the people of Akala have grown customs with it, and they have several defenses against a volcanic eruption

With the higher temperature of the island, the people who have lived on this island have much darker skin than the ones who live on the other islands. So one can easily identify if someone is from Akala island, the skin tone range from brown to black.

You can find these skin tones on other islands as well, but their ancestors originated from Akala. And with how the islands are right next to each other, it never stopped these people from traveling to the other islands.

Julian is eager to see what Akala island is like and how are its people.

Charizard crosses the massive water body between Melemele and Akala island and finally arrives over Akala, he then descends slowly down onto Akala.

Charizard lands on an unoccupied beach, so no one witnessed Julian's arrival here in Akala. Julian turned around to look at the sea and saw his Gyarados's tail come out of the water and splash against the surface.

Julian then looks at the town in front of him and decides to check it out.

The town here in Akala is very similar to the one on Melemele island, but the people seem more energetic and the products that they sell here are very different as well. The fruits are of different shapes and colors. Some fruits of the same species look completely different as well.

Julian took his time to look around the town and see what else Akala has that Melemele didn't and he found many, especially food.

The food sold here in Akala is much sweeter, the people here seem to have a sweet tooth, but the best thing that Julian found was dairy items.

He learned that the cattle here in Akala are very healthy and they produce high-quality milk in great volume.

After tasting some samples, Julian couldn't help but buy a lot of dairy products for himself. He decided to use them to make food for himself and his pokemons.

Julian spent a lot of his time walking around the town and talking with people. He would talk with the locals and try to insert subtle references to cipher members without speaking about them.

If these local people had noticed cipher members or anyone suspicious, Julian just needs a trigger word for them to speak out, as humans are not very good at keeping information to themselves.

Humans are social animals and they will share something whenever they get the chance to do so. But Julian's luck was running low as the locals didn't seem to have noticed anything suspicious at all.
