Journey Towards Greatness

The fourth king watched as his enemy fell from the sky, and it was ready for another attack. He knows he needs to take out all three of them with one move, but it also has to be a strong one.

So without giving it a second thought, he started to swim toward the falling kings, and halfway through; he dove into the water, creating a big splash.

The three kings also crashed into the water, but it rattled them. Falling from such height directly into the water is the same as falling on a hard surface.

All three of them grimaced in pain, but before they could even collect their thoughts and stabilize, they saw the water in front of them jump up, and behind this rising water wall is a massive Wailord which is about to Body Slam them.

Wailord knew it needed to take them out in one move or at least cause severe damage and it also has to take out all three of them, so what's a better move other than a Body Slam performed by a pokemon that is 14 meters long and weighs around 400 kgs.

(A/N - Yes Wailord only ways 398 kgs even though it's fucking huge. Pokemons make no sense. Well, it can at least float in the air if it wants to.)

The looming shadow of death scared the shit of the three kings, but they are not going to back down so easily.

They once again combined their powers and attacked the Wailord. The fusion of Ice Beam, Dragon Pulse, and Hydro Pump once again worked their magic as they smashed into Wailord's stomach.

But this didn't stop Wailord's descent on the three kings and they got crushed under Wailord.

A big splash followed, and then silence fell over. Every pokemon in the vicinity has already evacuated, but they are keeping a close eye on the battle.

They don't know who won, the Wailord, or the three other kings, but they are eager to see the results.

Suddenly four pokemons floated up the surface, Wailord, Golisopod, Samurott, and Kingdra, all of them out cold.

The pokemons who witnessed this were shocked. All four kings are down even though it was a 3 vs 1 situation.

This just proved that the Wailord is much stronger than the other three kings, but that doesn't matter right now. What's more important is that all four kings are down and in the wild, chances like this are slim to none.

If a pokemon is able to feed on these fallen kings, it will be able to grow stronger.

Slowly but surely, a few brave pokemons decided to approach the kings first and check their condition and if they are still out cold, it would be a feast.

The most ideal target will be Kingdra as it is the smallest, but the energy it contains in its body is no less than the other kings.

Too bad for these pokemons, these four didn't become the kings of this region for no reason, and this amount of damage won't be able to keep them down for long.

The first one to wake up is Golisopod, as he has the highest defense of all of them and he was able to neglect all serious damage his body could have suffered.

And as soon as he opened his eyes, he sensed a few pokemons approaching them, so without any hesitation; it used Ice Beam on these pokemons and sent them shooting through the air.

Seeing that one of the kings has woken up, the rest of the pokemons who were thinking of approaching the kings stopped their thoughts and decided to just watch.

Soon after, both Kingdra and Samurott woke up and shook their head to collect themselves, then all three of them looked at each other and then at the Wailord that is still unconscious.

Golisopod [This bastard, he attacked us before we could even speak.]

Golisopod yelled in frustration.

Samurott [He is more aggressive than before. It will be hard to convince him.]

Kingdra [But we have no choice]

Golisopod [Fuck that, let's just consume him. We can then develop our strength and grow stronger.]

Kingdra [But that will take time and we don't have any to spare, that Gyarados is too strong. Right now we all need to group up and take it down, or else we will just become its dinner.]

Golisopod calmed down hearing Kingdra's response as he knows Kingdra is right, they can grow stronger by consuming Wailord but it will take a lot of time to completely consume Wailord because of his size and then it will take additional time to convert everything they have eaten into their own energy.

Kingdra [No matter how much we dislike him, we need him right now. Not only is he the strongest, he also has the most experience in defending these waters than any of us, and it won't be his first time defending these waters against a Gyarados. You all must have heard about his battle against a ferocious Gyarados, the previous king of Ula Ula island.]

Kingdra asks, and the two respond by nodding their head. Before they were kings, the waters of Alola were under a different reign and Ula Ula island had the most vicious king of all, a very powerful Gyarados.

And this Wailord right here is the one who defeated that Gyarados and chased it away, but that Gyarados was stubborn and tried to reclaim but failed every time because this Wailord is very strong.

Only the strongest of all can rule the waters of Ula Ula island and all three of them know that Wailord is their best chance against this intruding goliath, the giant red Gyarados.

Samurott [Let's wait for him to wake up and then we can knock some sense into him. He should also know about the intruder.]

Samurott voiced his opinion and the other two agreed.
