Journey Towards Greatness

After looking around for a while, Julian directly headed towards the beach, and when he got there his eyes were greeted by a very beautiful scene, the endless blue ocean which reflects the sunlight creating a beautiful sight, and the grand endless sky where the sun hangs and a lot of beautiful women in bikinis running around laughing and fooling around.

Julian took some time to enjoy the view but soon got back to the task that he came here for, he walked along the shore of the beach and soon arrived at a rocky terrain, there are little to no people here, and the sound of waves crashing against the rocky boulders could be heard clearly, Julian looked around and he could see a lot of active pokemon life in this area.

He could see some Corsolas sticking to those massive rocks, Corsolas are interesting pokemons and have a quite good defense but it is not a pokemon that Julian is interested in, he is looking for something which is very timid in nature and because they are timid in nature, they will be hard to find without Julian sneaking behind them.

Julian slowed down his steps along with his breathing and approached the rocky areas, the pokemon he is looking for likes to bury themselves under the sand or hide under these massive rocks, luckily for Julian, these pokemons like to live in groups so he doesn't have to search for them for too long.

He can just scout from a distance and target one that meets his standard, it didn't take Julian long to find a few of the pokemons he is looking for, he saw these tiny crawlers crawling around feeding on small critters which have attached themselves to these rocks and crevices.

Julian carefully watched all these little crawlers moving around while positioning himself behind a rock, Julian is very lucky today as he has already seen multiple pokemons rushing around feeding, even though he has not seen any promising pokemon, he is still very happy with how many of them are in the area.

He also noticed how skittish they are, just a little noise can startle them and cause them to burry themselves into deep sand, Julian knows that he has no chance of catching one of these through weakening them, if he sends a pokemon out there to knock it out, they would instantly retreat before even trying to engage in a fight.

Julian will have to directly catch it through a Pokeball, he will have to get a perfect throw to catch one and since these pokemons are not that strong, they will not be able to escape out of it.

So the wait began, he waited and waited and waited, for almost 4 hours, even though the pokemon he is looking for have been showing in abundance, none of them caught his attention, until one of them finally did.

He saw a little one crawl out of the ocean, this one is different in color indicating that it is a Shiny, and since it is a Shiny, its potential is one of the best, but this pokemon is way smaller compared to others, Julian wondered why is this one so small compared to others.

The pokemon he is looking at is already small and they average at 0.5 meters, but the shiny that just stepped in is just 0.25 meters long, it is half the size of its species.

Julian didn't know why this pokemon is so small but he can tell that the potential of this pokemon is massive so he took out an empty Pokeball and threw it at the shiny pokemon at full speed.

The little shiny pokemon seem to have sensed something coming towards it and made a very fast turn to see what is it, when it saw a Pokeball shooting towards it, it tried to run away by digging into the sand and it was fast.

Half of its body already dug into the sand but Julian's target was on point, the Pokeball touched the pokemon's tail and engulfed it at once, as soon as the Pokeball landed on the ground, it startled all the other pokemons as the fleed in fright, all of them either buried into the sand or ran into the crevices of the rocks.

The Pokeball started to shake and Julian got a little nervous, he knows that if this pokemon escapes from the Pokeball it might escape if Julian doesn't take a quick measure, he took out another Pokeball and waited for the current one to fail so he can throw another one at it.

The pokemon on the ground continued to shake violently, Julian didn't know what is going to happen, from what he has learned about these pokemons, they are very weak in their early state and they can't even escape from a Pokeball even if they are full of energy.

Julian hopes that his first Pokeball is successful in catching it, the Pokeball continued to shake, beeping multiple times, after a few seconds of struggle the Pokeball finally stopped while its button started to bleep multiple times, Julian held his breath in anticipation as his grip on the other Pokeball tightened.

The Pokeball suddenly exploded and the pokemon shot out of the Pokeball, as soon as the Pokeball exploded, Julian's arm threw the Pokeball like a slingshot and caught the pokemon once again in mid-air, the second Pokeball landed on the ground again and this time the Pokeball didn't move around for too long.

The Pokeball beeped releasing a present chime indicating that the catch is successful, seeing this Julian took a deep breath and approached the Pokeball and picked it up, he looked around and saw many little eyes staring at him with caution and fear.

He shook his head and walked away with his very first pokemon here in Alola.
