The bunker made out of the forest couldn't refuse the rules of the world pillar.

With the keys in his hand, Kyoya and his party successfully spread out the branches, opening up the path toward the boss.

The three-colored boss was laying on the ground, its face turned to face the incoming dungeon conquerors. But were they really the dungeon conquerors? No, they were the demons themselves!

Otherwise, how could its dungeon just disappear like that over a few days? The bear also knew the rules, its eyes saddened at the sight of the visitors. This was the time to fight for survival though.

Thus, its eyes shifted from sorrowful gems to the fearless ones!

"Husband, look! It is a red color! I told you~~"

"It is really red… I thought it would be green."

"Me too. The green would suit him better."

There was a small bet within the party. As it can be seen above, the bet was about the third color of the boss. Along its half-grey, half-blue body, the red lines like cracks spread on the back of the bear boss!

Now that the boss changed its stance, its already big form went up! On its two, the three-colored bear was ready to greet the dungeon conquerors with its big paws! He even swept the air two times like a boxer!

"How intimidating!"

"Ahah~~ He is scared, can't you tell?"

While Xaya only chuckled to her husband's half-jesting tone, Xiaoxiao reminded Kyoya about his goal here, then took the first step forth. She initiated the battle by quickly turning into a beam of orange light like her hair!

The bear boss knocked the ground in response, its body rushing forth as well.

"I will summon our house now. Within the house, keep an eye on our surroundings. When I get hurt, the game notification should notify you."

"Before the game system notifies me, my healing powers will be already over you, husband!"

Xaya's confidence was back, so Kyoya could only smile at this. It is always great to be confident, but being overly confident is not so great at all! The husband could only expect more struggles in the future, but for now, it was great that his wife was willing to change.

It is going to be a slow change, but Kyoya believed that being overly confident is better than being in a constant slump.

And he is here to support his wife. He could go in and fight with a lighter heart seeing her lips curled up into a mesmerizing smile!

When Kyoya arrived near the bear's side, his eyes already recorded Xiaoxiao's battle. She was truly keen on stopping the bear in one place, her spear parrying every blow of his. Even though these blows could tear through the air, Xiaoxiao's body only slightly shook when she intercepted those with her spear tip or shaft.

Changing in between those, Xiaoxiao was doing fairly well without losing any 'HP' which was not only efficient but also pleasant to watch. Kyoya felt like joking about taking out the popcorn, but this is not appropriate at all here.

Also, is there popcorn? He had yet to see it!

It was likewise a time for the lesson. Like the assassin, Kyoya was aiming for the perfect execution that would trigger the critical strike. However, his eyes couldn't spot the weak spots yet.

But it was the lesson indeed. On every retreat, Kyoya made sure to remember the pattern of the boss. It was a simple boss just like Xiaoxiao had said. it would either use its paws or mouth to attack.

'Right, right… left…'

'That roar should be a cc skill… It should affect the mind, but Xiaoxiao is… Ah, so that's why her fire is so loud… A louder fire exerts more mana though.'

Kyoya was analyzing each move and doing his best to spot the differences in case the monster decides to use the special skill. He was doing also fine by inflicting the damage, his slashes corroding the body of the bear.

The less percentage of the boss' HP, the easier for Kyoya's Deceive to be utilized. Right now, Kyoya's eyes could spot weak points that would trigger the critical strike and increase the effect of the bleeding. Everyone can trigger bleeding, but increasing it is another matter. The husband was doing it fine, clearly lowering the defenses of the monster.

The husband saw it! He saw the different light in the bear's eyes, and even the fur of the bear somehow had informed the husband about its skill… The beast totally gave up on punches and pounded forward.

But Kyoya knew and so Xiaoxiao. She didn't plan to allow herself to be grabbed by the beast! Being slightly faster than Kyoya when it comes to noticing up the pattern of the enemies, Xiaoxiao's feet retreated gracefully before the monster could hug her for real.

Then, she continued to run away in acrobatic motion with her feet and hands continuously touching the ground.

'Wow, that was nice.'

The husband liked that move. The way she threw her spear behind and landed near it perfectly with the addition of small fire wisps around her was just the sight to behold. It emphasized Xiaoxiao's vigor perfectly.

However, the boss chased after her on its four. The loud stomps kept ringing in Kyoya's ears. He was ready to utilize his execution skill - Deceive - with one knife this time. He planned to gather the energy in one knife and make a swift horizontal slash near the neck of the bear.

But he stopped.

It was because he suddenly noticed the playful smile of Xiaoxiao. She looked behind at the house, then before the boss could reach her, she decided to use the house as 'CC' and made the boss charge onto it.

With a smirk on her face, she leaped off to the side, then lightly walked away knowing that this is the husband's solo time.

The husband felt like riding that playful train, but the third party member wasn't on the same page.

The husband went all mad, his scream completely misunderstood by Xaya who thought that she did a good job! She clasped her hands like usual, she does, enjoying her husband deceiving the boss with something akin to his avatar.

While the avatar dispersed, the husband's knife thrust forth to get rid of the boss' manhood… What was the worst that the quest didn't get completed at the first attempt. The husband had to dive forth yet again to properly deliver the blow.

Kyoya couldn't eat the meat of this boss anyway after his quest from his wife. He just turned the boss into the EXP wholly.

Since it was a special boss, the game system allowed Kyoya to keep the body intact.

Xiaoxiao blinked her eyes cutely at Kyoya who asked about her way to stun the beast… Of course, after barging into the house of the couple, the boss got stunned and it was time for perfect execution, but the husband failed…

Due to the target, but also there was his inexperience.

Regardless of that, Xiaoxiao just swayed her upper body from side to side acting playful as it was amusing. It was yet another sight of her getting closer with the couple though! Kyoya couldn't' give a thought to it though and felt like going for the friendly argument!

Xiaoxiao glanced at Kyoya from the side, then burst out laughing. She was obviously joking and feeling great as the losses were minuscule. The party was only of the three members and the husband needed some time to properly inflict the wounds, but it was still a great achievement to deal with the boss in a three-member party!

And it was their last battle, so Xiaoxiao didn't want to hold herself back. Being an adventurer has taught her to be wary of others and so she took a respectful stance for most of her time, but in the end, her origins are that of a villager lady.

Just like in the old days, Xiaoxiao laughed and played with her friends!

"I'm kidding! You did well though! Cleaning up the dungeon means the hunters from the village can go deeper into the forest! Let's go back and inform them! If not you, then the village head should prepare the feast for us!"

Everyone was on the same page to which Kyoya could only be glad about! He rubbed his nose, feeling stupid from his earlier words as he finally realized that Xiaoxiao became closer to them.

During the comeback, the party had spent some time on analyzing their moves and the boss' patterns so that the experience gathered here could be richer. Xaya also spoke with Xiaoxiao, asking for some tips when it comes to guarding the area.

It would be upsetting if someone had barred in and used the battle between the adventurers and the boss for their own benefits. The dungeon was also in its most unique state, so pretty much everyone could stumble upon the bear boss' bunker.

Also, Xiaoxiao was always keeping a friendly distance from Kyoya like a friend she is. That's why Xaya simply let go of her guard as she knew that her husband won't be openly seeking any women nor Xiaoxiao had filthy thoughts in her mind.

Thus, the mood couldn't be better. Everyone happily spoke until the feast arrived!
