Hidden Wife: Best Husband

Chapter 78: Misunderstanding part 1

Before Jean left the room, once again apologized to Park Soo Hyun.

"You'd better come home to change."  Dae Hyun thought this would be a good time to send his brother out of the room.

"Ughh, alright." Park Soo Hyun was forced to agree to go home.  It was impossible to keep his clothes wet and sticky like that.  Irritated, he left Dae Hyun's room.

Dae Hyun can now breathe a sigh of relief and can return to work in peace.  Half an hour has passed since Soo Yin left, but she hasn't returned yet.  Just about to stand up suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Dae Hyun said as he sat back down.

It turned out that it was Chang Yuan who had something in his hand.

"Sir, I found this."  Chang Yuan handed Dae Hyun a recorded memory card.

Dae Hyun frowned.  Without answering, immediately put it in the laptop.  Not long after that Dae Hyun immediately played the recording.

In it there was a video recording of Aeri exiting the Namsan Park area while making a phone call.  It was an incident when Jo Yeon Ho was nearly kidnapped.  Not long after, Aeri left that location.

Dae Hyun clenched his fists after seeing the footage.  It meant that what Aeri has said so far was a lie.  Actually Dae Hyun already suspected him, but he really did not expect Aeri to really left his son alone in the park.

"Is there anything else?" Dae Hyun asked to gather more evidence so that the woman could not dodge.

"Someone sent me a photo."  Chang Yuan showed him the photo someone sent him.  The photo was taken when Aeri was having a party in an apartment that made her lose track of time.

"What a bitch!" Dae Hyun pounded the table so hard and it took Chang Yuan by surprise.  But did not dare to protest what his boss had done.

Dae Hyun really felt furious with Aeri's behavior.  He has been suspicious whenever that woman came home and took care of their child.  But Dae Hyun ignored it.  After all, he didn't love her so it was up to her to do and he did not care at all.

But this time it was very different.  It was so heartless for a mother to left her son alone without a caregiver.  Dae Hyun can't imagine that if Soo Yin wasn't there at that time, maybe Jo Yeon Ho would get hurt.  What made Dae Hyun even angrier this time was that he nearly lost the life of the girl he loved so much.

Dae Hyun clenched his fists with a fiery gaze.  Like a tiger that will pounce on its prey.

"From now on, tell people to follow her wherever she goes," Dae Hyun said.  He wanted to have more evidence to escape Aeri's snare.  For a long time he wanted to be released but always failed because that woman always succeeded in winning over her parents.

"Okay sir."  Chang Yuan immediately withdrew to leave the room.

Dae Hyun looked back at the watch on his hand, there was about 15 minutes of rest time.  A glimpse of Soo Yin's work desk was still empty.  He needed to see someone to reduce his current anger.  Just looking at his beloved woman, somehow his heart felt calm and peaceful.

===============================

Soo Yin walked outside briefly to a small park across the street.  In front of the hotel there was a small garden, in which there was a lake but it was not that wide.

The girl sat on a long bench facing the lake.  The atmosphere there was very calm and comfortable, especially accompanied by a soothing breeze.

'Was I too childish?' The girl thought as she shook her legs under the bench.  Was he too upset just because of provisions?  Soo Yin didn't care if Dae Hyun thinks she was childish or too much.

Soo Yin closed her eyes for a moment while taking a breath of fresh air. She glanced at the watch, which turned out to be time for lunch.  Immediately decided to return to the hotel.

Soo Yin went to canteen because her stomach was already hungry.  First queue to get food. She looked all over the area looking for Jean's whereabouts but could not find her.  She kept walking while looking for an empty seat.  While waiting for Jean, Soo Yin finished her drink while playing with the cellphone in her hand.

Five minutes of waiting, there was someone sitting in front of her.  Soo Yin raised her face to see.  It turned out to be Jean who had arrived with a disheveled face.  Put the food he brought on the table.

"What's wrong, Jean?" Soo Yin asked while observing her best friend.  Although earlier she seemed fine. Her face was cheerful as usual.

"I just made a mistake," Jean said, covering her face with both hands.

"Did something happen?"  asked Soo Yin worried.

"I spilled the coffee I brought, on Mr. Dae Hyun's brother's body," Jean said, immediately took her hand away from her face.

"You mean Park Soo Hyun? Why is it like that?"

"So his name is Park Soo Hyun? I accidentally spilled it. I hope Mr. Dae Hyun's words are true, that they won't fire me. But I really feel scared," Jean said frantically.

"There's no need to worry, because there's no way Mr. Dae Hyun will lie. I'll make sure you don't quit your job."  Soo Yin held Jean's hand to calm her down.  Feeling guilty because it should be her job, if she didn't tell Jean maybe her best friend wouldn't get into such a trouble like that.

"I hope so because I really need this job," Jean said with a sad face.

"Calm down, I'll make sure of that."  If Dae Hyun had intended to fire Jean, she wouldn't just stand by.

"Hi everyone," Jae-hwa who just came with a tray of food said.

"Hi Jae-hwa, long time no see," Soo Yin said with a happy face.

Jae-hwa was delighted to see the smile etched on Soo Yin's lips.  The smile that always excited him.  The girl who made him fall in love even though he never had the balls to say it.  Can only express his feelings through attention.

"Can I join you?" Jae-hwa asked.

"Of course, don't hesitate. Haven't we been friends for a long time."  Soo Yin shifted her chair because Jae-hwa standing next to her, she can't possibly tell him to sit next to Jean.  This shouldn't be a problem.

Jae-hwa immediately sat on the chair beside Soo Yin.  Over a month of never seeing her, Jae-hwa felt homesick even though he didn't dare to say it.  It was enough by seeing the smile of the girl he loved, his longing slowly healed.

Jae-hwa glanced at Jean.  Feeling weird with Jean's attitude who was more quiet than usual this time.

"Jean, what's wrong with you?"

"Ah, I'm fine. Let's eat, we need to hurry hurry before the rest time is over," Jean said, changing the conversation.  She tried to calm herself down so as not to feel anxious.  Really hope that what Soo Yin said was correct.

????????????????????????????????????????????????

Dae Hyun looked for Soo Yin out of the hotel but didn't find the girl.  Until finally asked a worker, it turned out that Soo Yin was currently in the canteen.

Dae Hyun leisurely walked into the canteen area.  A place he rarely visited.  Most of those who ate in the canteen were servants and other subordinate workers.

All workers look at each other.  It felt strange because it was the first time seeing their boss come to the canteen.  They all step aside to make way.

Dae Hyun looked around the canteen.  Observing the women one by one to find Soo Yin.  It took a long time to find her.  Until finally he continued to step inward.  Which made the employees seem confused by his presence.

After his eyes wandered, he finally found the figure he was looking for.  Even though only her back was visible, Dae Hyun was sure that it was his wife.

Feeling hungry, he first took the food which made everyone even more amazed.  Although the superiors also eat the same menu.  But often they order the waiter to bring it to their respective rooms so they don't have to queue.

Dae Hyun patiently stood in line with his subordinates.  There were some employees who felt uncomfortable so they tell their boss to take it first.

After finishing Dae Hyun stepped his foot towards the table where Soo Yin was sitting.  His eyes bulged when he saw his wife sitting next to another man.  They seemed busy chatting and joking.  Made Dae Hyun jealous.

Jean, who saw Dae Hyun's arrival first, was so surprised that his eyeballs almost fell off.

"Soo Yin, didn't I see wrong?" Jean said, not taking her eyes off Dae Hyun who kept walking towards them.

"What is going on?" Soo Yin asked as she ate her meal.

"Look back," Jean said.

Soo Yin and Jae-Hwa turned their bodies simultaneously.  Intrigued by what Jean said.

"Can I join here?" Dae Hyun who was standing right behind Soo Yin asked.
