Hidden Wife: Best Husband

Chapter 546: Chapter 546

After talking for a bit, Hae Sok finally hung up the call. It made Soo Yin feel bad if she didn't come.

"Alright, get ready. We will leave in a moment," said Soo Yin.

"Thank you, honey. You've granted grandma's wish." Dae Hyun kissed Soo Yin's palm again.

"Get up quickly, don't let grandma disappointed," said Soo Yin. She didn't want to destroy Hae Sok's trust given to her.

"You're right, maybe there are many who want to destroy our relationship. I can't be weak," said Soo Yin with determination.

Dae Hyun was happy that Soo Yin was finally excited again after a few gloomy days.

"You have to know that the higher a person's level is, the more obstacles that wants to overthrow," said Dae Hyun.

Soo Yin nodded her head, remembering when they met a fortune teller in Busan who said their relationship would last if they managed to overcome all obstacles. Just like the Edelweiss flower that had to work hard to reach it.

Dae Hyun stood up and hugged Soo Yin very tightly. He felt reluctant to let go because hugging her made his heart feel very comfortable.

"Dae Hyun, if you hug me like this. When can I take a shower and get ready? It's getting late now," said Soo Yin.

"I'm very happy that you're finally cheerful again. Stay like this, be strong so that we can achieve perfect happiness. If we are strong then those who want our relationship to be destroyed will eventually give up," said Dae Hyun. He was really worried that Soo Yin would give up and choose to leave.

"You're right, no relationship lasts without a struggle." Soo Yin began to open her heart to be more steadfast.

==========

UN Village,

It was already evening when Dae Hyun and Soo Yin arrived at his extended family's residence. Soo Yin bit her lower lip when she heard a bustling sound in the living room.

"Let's get off," said Dae Hyun.

"Or do you want us to just go home?" Dae Hyun said, not wanting to force his wife to stay in for fear of hurting her feelings.

"No, we'll just enter through the side door. I'm not ready to meet all of them yet," said Soo Yin. It needed a strong heart to meet them all. What's more, Aeri certainly won't stay silent if she saw her coming with Dae Hyun. That woman would definitely use this opportunity to drop her self-esteem in front of Dae Hyun's family.

"Okay, I understand," Dae Hyun said. He got out of the car first then opened the door for Soo Yin.

The atmosphere on the terrace was quiet so they could pass through it safely. Dae Hyun led Soo Yin to enter through the side door that slightly behind which led directly to the dining room.

Soo Yin breathed a sigh of relief because there were only the maids who were preparing dinner there.

"Master, Miss, you finally came. Grandma has been asking for your arrival," said Eun Hee.

Soo Yin just smiled in response to Eun Hee's greeting to her.

"Dae Hyun, go meet your grandma. I'll just be here to help prepare dinner with the others," said Soo Yin.

"I'll stay here with you," Dae Hyun refused firmly. He didn't want to let Soo Yin away from him while she was at the house.

Yeon Ho was playing hide and seek with his cousin. Unintentionally, he looked at the dining table so that he could see Dae Hyun.

"Father has come!" Yeon Ho exclaimed with a happy face. Then he ran to Dae Hyun.

"Yeon Ho, don't run like that," said Soo Yin, afraid that her son would trip and fall.

"It turns out that Mother is also here," said Yeon Ho.

Soo Yin bent down and kissed Yeon Ho's cheeks in turn.

"Father, when are we staying and playing at Mother's house again? I want to see my plants in the greenhouse," said Yeon Ho after being in Dae Hyun's arms.

Soo Yin and Dae Dae Hyun looked at each other for a while. Yeon Ho only knew that he'd been staying at the hotel. At his young age, Yeon Ho hadn't thought that far.

"Hmmm, next time," said Dae Hyun with a faint smile.

"Father, let's gather with grandpa and grandma in the living room," said Yeon Ho.

Dae Hyun wanted to refuse his son's request but it seemed impossible.

"Okay. Soo Yin, let's go to the living room," said Dae Hyun, maybe Soo Yin had changed her mind.

"Go, I'll just stay here. After all, it's time for dinner soon. We'll gather later," Soo Yin said gently. As much as possible she will avoid the crowd. Even if when they were dinner later she was not sure she can avoid it.

"Mother's not coming?" Yeon Ho asked.

"No, I'll just help aunt to prepare dinner," said Soo Yin with a smile.

Dae Hyun immediately left the dining room because Soo Yin insisted that she didn't want to be with him. Whereas if nearby, Soo Yin would be much safer. There will be someone who can protect her, if her family dared to say things.

"Dae Hyun, you finally came too. We've been waiting for you for a long time," said Hae Sok with a sparkling expression upon seeing her grandson's arrival.

Mrs. Park looked gloomy because she was thinking about Park Soo Hyun's condition so she didn't really focus on Dae Hyun. Until now, his whereabout were unknown, even though they had tried everything they could. Including reporting to the police but there was still no news.

In contrast to Hae Sok who was relaxed. Although worried but she was sure her grandson was fine. After all, this wasn't the first time Park Soo Hyun had left the house. Once he calmed down enough he would definitely come back soon.

In the living room all the family gathered including Dae Hyun's two aunts and some of his closest relatives. But his aunts' husbands were not there. Maybe they were still upset because they can't control the hotel.

"Honey, sit here," Aeri said very sweetly then shifted her body slightly to make room for Dae Hyun to sit near her. She smiled happily because she didn't find Soo Yin with her husband.

Dae Hyun looked around, there was no seat left for him other than near Aeri. Dae Hyun was forced to sit there with Yeon Ho on his lap.

"Dae Hyun, I'm glad that you came alone. At least no one will make a mess in this house," whispered Aeri.

Dae Hyun remained silent, pretending not to hear Aeri's words which only provoked his emotions.

"Dae Hyun, where's Soo Yin? Did you not invite her to this house? Even though it's grandma's birthday, tonight, we should be able to gather with our extended family here," said Shin-hye.

Mrs. Park, who had not been interested in their conversation, now had a frown on her face. It was true that Dae Hyun only came alone. But she was grateful that there would be no chaos.

"Auntie, never mind, there's no need to talk about her. Maybe tonight Dae Hyun wants to spend time with us. It feels like Dae Hyun is now spending more time with her," said Aeri.

"Yeon Ho, go back to play with your cousins," Dae Hyun said so that his son wouldn't hear what was inappropriate for him.

"Alright, Father." Yeon Ho immediately jogged to join the others.

"Dae Hyun, have you been looking for your brother's whereabouts?" asked Mrs. Park for the umpteenth time.

"Yes, Mom. I'm sure he's fine because he's old enough to think logically. He's probably just trying to calm down." Dae Hyun wanted to say everything if Park Soo Hyun had to be responsible for what he did. But now was not the right time. Let Park Soo Hyun himself say it after he came back from hiding.

"But I'm really worried," said Mrs. Park.

"Calm down, Mom. Isn't this not the first time Park Soo Hyun has been like this?

"That's right, Mom. Maybe Park Soo Hyun is currently trying to forget that girl," Aeri said, deliberately trying to heat up the atmosphere.

"We'd better continue the chat later. The maids seem to have finished preparing dinner," spoke Hae Sok who had realized that Aeri was provoking a topic that Mrs. Park didn't want to talk about.

Aeri could only snort in annoyance because Hae Sok had changed the subject.
