Hidden Wife: Best Husband

Chapter 51: Don't Like

Dae Hyun was grateful that they got to know each other.  Usually it's a bit difficult for Jo Yeon Ho to get close to someone he just met. Jo Yeon Ho seemed happy with Soo Yin's presence even though Soo Yin was still stiff and couldn't respond to her son's words.

"Where do you want to go today?" Dae Hyun asked. They will go somewhere according to their son's wish.

"I want to go to the park we've visited with mom," Jo Yeon Ho said.

"Haven't we been there before. Why not somewhere else?"  Dae Hyun made another offer because he was reluctant to go to that place again. There were too many visitors in there.

"I don't want to go anywhere else," Jo Yeon Ho said as she crossed his arms across his chest.

Dae Hyun was forced to obey his son's wishes. If he was sulking like that it's useless to convince him.

"Father will not carry you if you are tired," Dae Hyun  threatened, hoping his son would change his mind.

"I won't," Jo Yeon Ho said confidently.

Soo Yin was silent. Chose to listen to the debates between them.  Since finding out that Jo Yeon Ho was Dae Hyun's son, she has a feeling of resentment in her heart. She was also confused about why her feelings could change like that.  Even though at first she really liked the child.

"Why are we going there again, anyway?" Dae Hyun said.

"I want to pick a lot of flowers for Nuna(sister) Soo Yin," Jo Yeon Ho said while moving his hand.

"Thank you." Soo Yin tried to smile. Get rid of her dislike.

Dae Hyun immediately turned his car onto the road to the Namsan Park area. The biggest park in Seoul city. This garden was designed with various kind of flower plants and ginkgo trees that made the garden so cool to relax. Usually it was a transit point for people climbing to Mount Nam. So no wonder it was very crowded there.

Before getting out of the car, Dae Hyun wore glasses and a hat so that no one would recognize him.  Do not forget to also put on Jo Yeon Ho a coat that can cover his head.

To reach the park they had to walk up the stairs.  Jo Yeon Ho was so enthusiastic and excited that he didn't get tired of climbing the stairs.  Holding tight his father's hand.

In contrast to Soo Yin who was already struggling behind them.  No enthusiasm at all.  Especially when she looked at the closeness between father and son.  Soo Yin felt like she's forgotten by Dae Hyun.

Dae Hyun looked back to see Soo Yin but the girl was still far below.

"Yeon Ho, wait here for a moment." Dae Hyun immediately went down to Soo Yin.

"Are you tired?" Dae Hyun asked.

"I don't know, my leg feels difficult to move. It looks like my leg is cramping." Soo Yin sat on the stairs while massaging her calves.

Dae Hyun helped to massage Soo Yin's leg.  Applying the pain reliever he had taken with him for preparation.

"Is it better?" Dae Hyun asked.

Soo Yin nodded as she tried to stand up again which was helped by Dae Hyun. Back walking slowly following Jo Yeon Ho who was already at the top.  Actually, her leg didn't hurt at all, it was just her reason.

"Are you sick?" Jo Yeon Ho asked.

"No, just a little stiff. Let's move on!" Soo Yin took Jo Yeon Ho's hand.  Warded off her feelings of dislike.

It didn't take long before they finally arrived at the park.  Actually it was more suitable to come here at night. Can see the view of Seoul city lights lit up.

It was already late in the afternoon, making some of the visitors started to leave the park.  Only a few couples were still there to enjoy the sunset.

Soo Yin chose to sit on a long bench under the ginkgo tree.  Watching Jo Yeon Ho and Dae Hyun laughing cheerfully.  Occasionally even take photos for the two of them.  Soo Yin covered her face with both hands. Yes, right now she was jealous of Dae Hyun's closeness with his son. Not willing Dae Hyun to share his feelings with others.

Dae Hyun and Jo Yeon Ho approached Soo Yin who was sitting.

"Let's go home?" Dae Hyun asked because it was getting dark.

"Wait for a moment, I want to see the lights down there," Jo Yeon Ho said while pointing at the city of Seoul.

"We'll be late for dinner," Dae Hyun coaxed as he squatted in front of his son. Can't bear to see Soo Yin who must be tired.  What's more, tomorrow his wife will have to follow Peter Anderson's journey, who didn't know where they were going.

"Okay, but we have to come here again together with Mom too," Jo Yeon Ho asked.

"Hmmm." That was the only answer Dae Hyun could gave to his son.

Before returning home, Dae Hyun took them to a restaurant for dinner.  Since earlier, Dae Hyun felt that Soo Yin was a little quieter than usual.  While in the restaurant, only a few words were spoken.

They were currently on their way back to Villa Pyeongchang-dong after dropping off Jo Yeon Ho at UN Village.  Luckily the boy had fallen asleep from exhaustion.  If he was still awake, he would have told Dae Hyun to accompany him to sleep.

'Soo Yin, it's so natural that they are so close.  After all, Jo Yeon Ho is his son,' Soo Yin thought as she leaned his head on the seat. Tried to get rid of her jealousy.

"Thank you for accompanying us today," Dae Hyun said as he looked at his wife.  Holding Soo Yin's hand with one hand.

"Hmmm," Soo Yin said with a thin smile.

Dae Hyun looked at Soo Yin's face which looked sad.

"Can I ask you something?" Soo Yin is still curious about someone she saw earlier on the way to the airport.

"Of course, Honey," Dae Hyun replied.
