Help! I'm In Love With A Liar

"Just this morning, Wang abruptly broke his two year old relation with Biyu, telling her that he loves somebody else now. Biyu was already so distressed and now she got to know that her best friend was the reason behind this," She replied.

I was startled at her words. My mind was filled with so many questions. Biyu and Wang were going together. Did I just break Biyu's relation? How could Wang do this to me? But he loved me truly. No, there was certainly a misunderstanding.

"No, I think there is some confusion. Why did Biyu not tell me about this? She shared everything, then why not this?" I asked Chunhua.

"We wanted to be sure about our relation first," I asserted.

"Whatever! I am not mistaken. They both were in a very serious relation. That's the reason I tried asking you, if you were talking to Wang over phone," she admonished.

Before I could say anything in my defense Chunhua stormed out of the room looking miffed.

This was all making sense now. Why Wang always told me not to disclose about us, to anybody. Why Biyu was crying after seeing me with Wang. This was too much for me to take. All those beautiful moments spent with Wang, flashed before my eyes. I wanted to talk to Wang about this, directly.

I called up Wang and recounted to him, the whole incident, including my conversation with Chunhua. He did not speak anything.

"Is this all true, Wang?" I gathered courage to ask him finally. I could feel my heart thumping so fast. It seemed my whole life was dependent on his reply.

"Yes," Wang replied meekly.

"Why did Chunhua not tell me about this?" I asked him, trying to control my tears.

"I told her not to tell you anything, as you were a new friend," he replied, with a huge sigh.

I did not know what to say further. I could not control my tears any longer. I wanted to ask him so many things. How could he manipulate with my feelings like this? Not just did I lose him, I lost my friends too. Even, Chunhua was angry at me for not telling her the truth.
