Harry Potter and the Legend of the Temple

Chapter 68: Dementors and God-calling Guards

"Louis, do you think we should tell Harry."

On the Hogwarts Express, Hermione was the first to find Louis, shuttled among the crowds, and whispered in Louis' ear.

"No need, if you tell Harry, he might do something."

Louis spread his hands. What he said was not wrong. According to Harry's character, he would definitely find Sirius by himself. On the one hand, it would be harmful to his own safety. Although Sirius was innocent, on the other hand, it would also be harmful to Louis's. Plan for impact.

"Too."

Hermione closed her mouth because she saw Harry and Ron walking towards them.

"Have you found a seat?"

"Everyone here is full." Ron pointed at the carriages. "Only the last carriage seems to have only one person sitting there."

"Then let's get there quickly. It's still a long way from Hogwarts." Hermione urged the boys and looked up out of the window.

"It seems like it's going to rain."

In the last carriage of the train, there was only one person leaning against the wall, looking as if he was resting with his eyes closed.

"Shhh."

Louis made a silencing gesture to everyone.

"We'd better not disturb him."

"Who do you think he is?"

After several people quietly put away their luggage, Ron asked in a low voice.

"Professor Remus Lupin." Louis pointed to the box placed on the car cabinet. It seemed to be full of a big bag, like the kind of guy who traveled far away for a long time.

"He's a professor at Hogwarts? I've never seen him before."

"Obviously not, there is another vacant position for Defense Against the Dark Arts." Harry also expressed his frustration at this.

"You think he won't be dead, right?" Ron was about to put a hand up to test Lupine's nasal cavity.

"Ron, don't disturb the professor's rest!"

Hermione slapped Ron's dirty hand away.

"Snapped!"

A crisp sound resounded in the carriage. Ron felt pain and stared at Hermione with feigned anger.

"I'm sorry Ron, I didn't mean to do that."

Professor Lupine, who was sleeping soundly, did not seem to hear their actions. He turned over casually and smacked his mouth again, seemingly still immersed in his sweet dream.

"Oh, hey, is there still room here?"

The door was slowly pushed open again, and Neville Longbottom of Gryffindor came in pushing a box, followed by a white-haired girl.

"Astoria?" Louis was a little shocked to see Astoria, somehow she would be mixed up with Neville.

"What? I'm not welcome anymore?"

Astoria shook her long hair, and she seemed to have grown more graceful after the summer vacation.

"Mrs. Longbottom is a close friend of my grandma. I didn't know until summer vacation." Astoria seemed to see Louis's heart, and immediately explained. She sat down next to Louis, and the faint fragrance was there. Louis' hormones were surging.

Unlike Hermione, Astoria exudes the aura of a lady, the kind of innate nobility.

Seven people were sitting in one carriage, which seemed a bit crowded. In order to avoid crushing Lupine, Louis deliberately turned sideways, but this would inevitably lead to some physical contact with Astoria beside him.

"This is not the first time you have taken advantage of me." Astoria looked at Louis' predicament with some helplessness.

"Huh, why, you are still too young to eat me?" She whispered in Lewis's ear in a provocative tone. However, one hand pressed the wand against Louis' lower abdomen, as if he would instantly let him into the palace if he made any movement.

Louis smiled awkwardly. Fortunately, everyone on the side did not observe his situation. Even Hermione was chatting with Neville.

"I went to St. Mungo's Hospital this summer, and guess who I met?"

"Gilderoy Lockhart?" Louis interrupted.

"Yes, he looks really pitiful now. The doctor said it was a miracle that he could wake up." Neville sighed. Although Lockhart was a liar, he was not bad in nature.

Louis also knew something about Neville going to St. Mungo's Hospital. After all, Neville was also a poor man.

While everyone was laughing and chatting, the train suddenly stopped slowly.

All the lights in the car were turned off, and darkness greeted them.

Frost gradually condensed outside the window, the temperature inside the carriage dropped sharply, and a cold breath hit my face. But strangely, there was no such weather even in London in September.

"what happened?"

Everyone looked at each other, unaware of the situation in front of them. Ron had even stood up.

Outside the carriage door, a ghostly figure floated slowly past. Because the glass is transparent, even if it condenses into ice, you can still see the shadow outside.

Everyone leaned inside, and Astoria curled up next to Louis' shoulders, and she began to twitch all over.

Louis took out his wand, protected Astoria behind him, and held the Stone of Life in his other hand, ready to fight at any time.

"Click." The door was slowly opened, and Louis finally saw clearly the appearance of the monster outside the car door.

He was wearing a cloak, and his entire face was covered under the cloak. A pair of withered hands slowly stretched out, and his whole body floated in the air, like the god of death collecting a person's head.

The moment the monster approached, Louis felt that all the happiness around him was sucked away, and darkness, misery, and any negative emotions instantly piled up around him.

The children couldn't help but tremble, and the cold feeling hit their hearts, and the one who had the greatest impact was Harry.

His face turned pale, as if he had seen the saddest thing in his life. Suddenly his eyes went black and he fainted in the carriage.

"Harry!" Ron, Hermione and Neville crouched down and tried to support him, but none of them seemed to have the strength.

"He's not here, get out of here."

Professor Lupine didn't know when he had woken up. He held up his wand, which glowed with gleaming light.

But the guy didn't move. The dementor didn't seem to be willing to accept it.

"Call the gods to protect you!"

Almost at the same time, the voices of Louis and Lupin sounded, and a light flashed from the wand, slamming into the Dementor.

Lupine's Patronus was more mature than Louis's. A wolf-shaped Patronus approached the Dementor, and the thing screamed and glided away.

Louis was panting heavily, and his wand could only emit a faint silver light. This level could block the dementor's attack, but it was not enough to drive it away.

"The little guy is very good. This is his first time using the Patronus Charm."

When Louis came back to his senses, the interior of the carriage had returned to its normal color, the entire train had begun to slide, and the temperature began to recover.

Remus Lupine handed the chocolates to everyone and praised Louis.

"What is that?" Neville was a little scared. The scene just now was really scary, as if he would never be happy again.

"A dementor. They are the guards of Azkaban. I think they got on the bus to capture Black." Lupine said while biting a piece of chocolate.

"Eat it, it will be good for you."

Louis put the chocolate in his hand into his mouth. Suddenly, the unpleasant feeling of being affected by the dementors gradually dissipated, and his whole body relaxed, and then he felt that his backside was already wet.

"Harry, will he be okay?"
