Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 56 Return to Hogwarts

When Harry told Ron and Hermione what Luke had said, both of them were very surprised.

"So Lu Ke really doesn't care?"

Ron looked surprised and eager to try.

But Hermione poured cold water on him without hesitation: "The only explanation is that he will never lose at all. He must fail a hundred times first. Have you really thought about how long it will take to fail a hundred times?"

Harry and Ron looked up together and began to calculate.

"Practice for two days, fail once, rest for half a day, practice for two more days..."

Then Harry let out a long sigh of resignation.

Hermione nodded on the side: "Two hundred days, more than half a year, start working hard now, maybe you can succeed by the summer vacation, and..."

Ron shook his head: "And we don't have that much practice time. We still have to go to class and do homework..."

"Why is there such a thing as homework in the world?"

"Don't let me know who first invented homework..."

Ron said while looking at Hermione.

Hermione shook her head helplessly: "I don't know who it is, but I think he did the right thing."

Ron smiled and sighed: "But we still have time during the winter vacation, even though there are only three of us, do you want to give it a try?"

The three people looked at each other.

Then Harry nodded: "We can try."

During the following holidays, Harry and the three began to spend all their free time practicing: Lu Ke happened to be staying at the Burrow and could be their sparring partner at any time.

However, Harry and the three of them carefully chose not to practice with Lu Ke for the time being, because it could easily lead to Lu Ke knocking down all three of them in the blink of an eye.

Hermione quickly figured out a way. She used Transfiguration to create three sparring partners.

Although they still can't compare with Lu Ke, they can at least feel the pressure.

Soon, the twins joined in the game, but across from each other.

Ron finally began to feel the twins' strength in magic. They always seemed to be able to find a magic spell at unexpected times that was not necessarily dangerous, but could always make the battle slip into unknown territory.

It's almost like a prank.

"But seriously..."

Although the twins had the upper hand and never lost once, they were still very surprised to see the three Harrys working hard.

"Is it so important to defeat Lu Ke?"

"Even though we know he's a dangerous guy."

"But after all, he can't cast a spell."

"If we play a prank on him..."

Seeing the twins' confident expressions, Ron laughed.

"Have you never thought of trying a prank on Lu Ke?"

The twins laughed together.

"Such a clumsy way to provoke generals..."

"Of course we won't be fooled."

Ron nodded: "I'm not surprised."

"I couldn't imagine what Lu Ke would look like if he fell into a prank."

The twins looked at Ron with thoughtful expressions.

"how?"

Until after school started, none of the three Harrys could forget what happened that day.

Although they had indeed imagined the twins playing pranks on Lu Ke countless times, no one thought that things would turn out like this in the end.

Before the prank started, the three of them hid together to think about what would happen.

Maybe the twins succeeded in the prank, or maybe Lu Ke managed to escape the prank. This was a battle between the two sides who had never lost.

But Hermione whispered to Harry and the two of them: "Luce once fell into George and Fred's prank when he was in first grade."

Harry was a little surprised.

Of course, he had no doubt as to why Hermione knew such a thing, it must have been Johanna who told her.

But when they finally saw the results, Harry and the three of them were still shocked.

They had no idea that Lu Ke not only escaped the twins' prank, but also let the twins themselves be fooled.

It was during dinner one day. The twins helped Mrs. Weasley put the dinner on the table. No one knew what happened. The three of them, Harry, were still looking forward to when the twins would take action.

As a result, shortly after everyone started eating together, the twins suddenly began to have nosebleeds.

They looked awkwardly at Mrs. Weasley's worried look and took out their handkerchiefs to wipe away their nosebleeds.

For a long time, Harry and the three of them thought this was just an ordinary accident.

Until I go back to Hogwarts.

The twins told them it was a prank.

Except the prank failed.

"In short, we don't know when Lu Ke secretly changed what he was eating."

"And our quick-acting truant candy is definitely not enough for two people."

"So Lu Ke was well prepared and responded quickly."

"Well done!"

The twins stood in the corner outside the Burrow and smiled at each other.

Although this development was subtly surprising, the three of them were still surprised.

They never thought things would get so ordinary.

Originally they thought it would be a fight between dragons and tigers.

So until they returned to Hogwarts through the temporary floo network arranged by Hogwarts, the three of them could not help but think of the twins' pranks.

Until Harry received a note from Dumbledore for the first time.

"Friday afternoon……"

Harry sighed helplessly.

Dumbledore seemed a little anxious.

Ron sighed sympathetically. They had Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons on Friday afternoon until almost dinner time.

Hermione shook her head: "Don't think too much, I will teach you how to do your homework when you come back."

Harry smiled and nodded.

"Let's go to the secret base together on Saturday morning, and then try it with Lu Ke."

Ron and Hermione glanced at Harry together.

Although they shouldn't be surprised at all, they are.

Harry really couldn't wait any longer.

Hogwarts is like a cage prepared to protect underage wizards. Inside, there is little understanding of what is happening outside.

But the Burrow was different.

Although Mrs. Weasley has been trying not to let the bad news outside affect the people living inside, Harry and several others still hear bad news every day.

Sometimes it's Mr. Weasley's unintentional complaints, sometimes it's the inadvertent expressions of Sirius Black and Lupine, and sometimes it's Lu Ke's sudden disappearance and sudden return.

By now, the three of them, Harry, could clearly sense that Lu Ke would do some very scary things every time he went out.

It was so scary that Lu Ke needed a little time to regain his composure.

Before that, Lu Ke looked like a terrifying monster.

Or a fire dragon that could breathe fire at any moment.
