After Dobby left, Harry finally had time to look at the gifts he had received.

Mrs. Weasley's new sweater, Sirius Black's lightweight multifunctional pencil sharpener, Hagrid's pile of candies, and Luke's diving goggles.

To Harry's surprise, there was no gift from Hermione.

Even Ron, who should be busy with Kathleen, sent the twins a box of prank candies.

But after Harry was surprised, he didn't feel strange at all.

He walked out of the dormitory and met Hermione in the common room. To Harry's surprise, Hermione was holding a box and said it was a Christmas gift.

Harry accepted it, and when he opened it, there was a book inside, which contained a complete list of the Quidditch teams of Griffiths. Like every time before, Hermione's gift was always one of Harry's favorites.

They enjoyed sumptuous food together in the hall, and the house elves tried their best to satisfy everyone. Everyone ate lazily and slowly opened the gift boxes, enjoying the surprise.

They went out to have a snowball fight in the afternoon, and Hermione only wanted to stand aside and watch Harry play with the twins. At five o'clock, Hermione returned to the castle, and he told Harry that he was going to prepare for the ball now.

Harry looked surprised, but didn't say anything, just nodded.

He noticed Malfoy in the distance. He looked at this place with a gloomy face, obviously very unwilling to help Harry find a dance partner.

But the dance was about to start in three hours, and it was already too late.

After dusk fell, they returned to the castle. In Gryffindor Tower, all the boys changed into their uniforms and returned to the common room.

Their dance partners were waiting here, and Harry was a little surprised to find that Hermione wasn't here.

Then he spotted Hermione walking out of the girls' dormitory.

This wasn't the first time Harry had noticed how beautiful Hermione was, but he was still surprised.

Together they walked out of the common room and to the front of the hall.

The hall would not open until the dance started, and now all the students were crowded in the foyer, some looking for dance partners in the crowd, and voices and laughter were everywhere.

Harry and Hermione stood on the edge of the crowd, looking around.

He saw Ron and Kathleen, and there were jealous looks all around them, because Kathleen was so beautiful.

Fleur was wearing a satin gown, and her dance partner was the Ravenclaw Quidditch captain.

Malfoy took Pansy Parkinson's arm with a gloomy expression, but the latter looked surprised.

The front door suddenly opened and Karkaroff and Bloom walked in with a cold wind.

Harry noticed that Bloom had a gloomy look on his face. The girl next to him seemed to be from Beauxbatons, but she seemed to be just a crazy fan who was chasing stars and success.

Hermione smiled in surprise: "It turns out to be her!"

Harry looked at Hermione blankly: "Why did you say that? What happened?"

Hermione smiled: "Bloom wanted me to be his dance partner, but I refused. His current dance partner was nearby at that time."

Hermione shook her head: "He just hasn't seen anyone who would reject him. Think about it, everyone is fawning over him and worshiping him. The person who doesn't do this will be very curious."

Harry looked surprised: "I mean, you rejected him? That's Bloom!"

Hermione smiled: "He is just an annoying guy who attracts a group of noisy girls in the library and disturbs my reading."

Harry couldn't help but laugh.

He's also a fan of Bloom's, just not as crazy.

Then Harry saw Johanna.

All the people here looked up at the same time, as if their intuition told them that a scene they could only see once in their lifetime was about to appear.

Then they saw Johanna coming down the steps of the stairs.

I don’t know if it’s an illusion, but Johanna is extremely tall now, and she looks like a seventh-grade student.

She was covered in pure white and gold gifts, elegant and gorgeous, and she looked like a female pope.

Johanna had a cold look on her face, almost like a saint.

But there is no doubt that she will not fall into misery, because Lu Ke is by her side.

Compared to Johanna, Lu Ke looked like a stubborn rock under blooming flowers.

But everyone knows that only Lu Ke can protect a beautiful lady like Johanna.

The bandage on his right arm completely disappeared, and Lu Ke now looked equally tall. The two of them walked down the stairs under everyone's attention, calm and composed.

It wasn't until the crowd blocked his view that Harry finally looked away, and he sighed unconsciously.

"She's so pretty, isn't she?"

There was a subtle dissatisfaction in Hermione's voice.

Harry shook his head quickly: "But she is not as good as you."

Hermione laughed: "You are actually telling lies!"

Harry was stunned for a moment and then laughed too.

Then finally, the hall door opened.

After everyone was seated, Professor McGonagall asked the last warriors left outside the hall to line up with their dance partners and followed her in.

Everyone applauded enthusiastically.

The walls of the auditorium were covered with glittering silver frost, and the ceiling was a brilliant starry sky, with garlands of ivy and mistletoe hanging below.

The four long tables belonging to the four colleges disappeared and were replaced by a hundred small tables lit with lanterns, with more than a dozen people sitting at each table.

The warriors walked to the guest table and sat down. The judges had different expressions. Dumbledore had a smile on his face, but what surprised Harry was that Percy actually sat in Barty Crouch's seat. .

He looked much better, as if he had finally forgotten the frustration of being manipulated by Tom Riddle after a long time. Of course, Percy now had a reason to be here on behalf of Barty Crouch. Happy.

But Percy didn't say much to Harry, so Harry was sure he would never forget that humiliating defeat.

Everyone was sitting together, Johanna looked like she was glowing, and Fleur sat across from her with a clearly unhappy look on her face.

But they soon forgot about their unhappy things and talked to each other while eating.

Johanna was sitting next to Hermione. She looked at Hermione with great satisfaction: "You look exactly like I imagined."

Hermione smiled sheepishly: "I thought these things wouldn't suit me..."

Johanna shook her head: "This is just a little modification. You give them value, not the other way around."

Harry thought she was really good at talking.
