Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 27: Learn the Flying Curse

"Do what you do best, Quidditch."

Harry stopped breathlessly at the door of the hall.

But Hermione had already jumped up excitedly: "Flying broomstick! Harry! You just have to do what you do best!"

Harry was at a loss, Hedwig was still waiting for her reward.

Hermione pulled Harry into the hall: Malfoy looked jealous at this scene.

Then sitting at the long Gryffindor table, Harry took food from the table and fed it to Hedwig while Hermione began to explain what they were supposed to do.

"Didn't you say that a warrior can only carry one wand?"

Hermione looked at Harry with a smile: "Then use a magic spell to make your broomstick and firebolt come to you. Then you only need to do what you do most often and are best at. good."

Harry smiled.

"We don't need to fight a fire dragon head-on!"

Harry saw hope of survival, and he took a long breath: "Then you have to teach me the Flying Charm before the test begins."

Hermione smiled and nodded: "Of course."

The next time they found an empty classroom, they began to practice how to use the Flying Curse.

Hermione tried her best to teach Harry to use his mind to make all kinds of things fly towards him, but despite Harry's best efforts, he still couldn't succeed.

In addition, they had to go to class as usual. Ron, who could only be seen in class, quietly asked Harry if he was ready, but Hermione just snorted after hearing this.

After class, they didn't even have time to eat before going to the empty classroom to continue practicing. They even forgot about the time until Mrs. Lorris's call came from a distance.

Fortunately, it was Lu Ke who disappeared next.

He reached out and took off the invisibility cloak from Harry and Hermione, and then led them through the secret passage that suddenly appeared on the classroom wall and came to a room that Harry and Hermione had never seen before.

"This may help you forget about the fire dragon for a while and concentrate."

Lu Ke smiled at Harry and clapped his hands.

Two house elves appeared with a tray and placed the sumptuous dinner on a table at one side of the room.

"It won't work if you don't eat."

Lu Ke ignored Hermione's disgusted look and asked the two house elves to stay.

"This is Carrot, and Dobby..."

As Harry stuffed the chicken legs into his mouth, he looked at the two house elves in front of him in surprise.

"Yes! Dobby is working at Hogwarts, and Dumbledore is paying me!"

Carrot on the side looked at Dobby with disgust. For house elves like them, it is very immoral to work for wages.

Harry couldn't help but laugh.

Hermione was absolutely delighted.

After a long time, she finally saw a glimmer of hope, a house elf who really got paid, and the person who paid him was Dumbledore. Hermione never doubted that this was the greatest light in the wizarding world.

Lu Ke glanced at Harry and Hermione: "Dobby and Carrot will be your sparring partners, Harry, so Granger can rest aside and pay attention to your mistakes in casting spells and help correct them."

"This way you can learn spells faster."

Harry smiled and nodded.

Then Lu Ke left here alone.

Sleepless night.

The next morning, when the morning sun rose outside the window, there was already a pile of things in front of Harry, including books, sundries, and even Neville's toad.

"I think you've mastered the spell once and for all."

Hermione looked at Harry and smiled.

Harry sighed, and Hermione threw a large, thick book at him.

Harry waved his wand: "Books are flying."

Then the big book suddenly changed its trajectory and landed steadily in Harry's hand.

"I just hope that the beginning of the test can be so smooth..."

Harry let out a long sigh that turned into a yawn.

Hermione looked at him and smiled, smiling as she began to yawn as well.

Then they walked out of the room together and back into the hall.

After breakfast, the two of them went back to the dormitory and took a nap. They almost didn't wake up before class. After lunch, they started practicing the Flying Charm again.

Tomorrow is the time for the first test.

The next morning, Harry got up very early. While having breakfast, Ron, who had not been seen for a long time, came to him to cheer him up.

However, this obviously had no effect, and Harry even felt more nervous.

Classes were suspended at noon, and then everyone went to the venue together. They all wanted to watch the Warriors' first test.

The world began to turn into a torrent that had nothing to do with him. Harry seemed to be standing on an island in the middle of the flood, looking around. Then the scene flashed and he was already walking towards the outside of the castle with everyone.

Professor McGonagall came to Harry's side. She looked more nervous than Hermione.

Professor McGonagall put her hand on Harry's shoulder: "Don't be nervous, there are many wizards here... Together, we will definitely protect your safety..."

Harry nodded blankly.

They walked towards the edge of the Forbidden Forest and then entered a tent.

Although blocked by the tall tent, Harry could already hear the roar of the fire dragon.

This is the tent prepared by the warriors. Ludo Bagman is inside. He is responsible for explaining the precautions and arranging for the warriors to face the test one by one.

Harry looked around. Fleur looked nervous, Bloom looked gloomy, and Cedric was pacing back and forth uneasily.

Harry found these warriors disappointing. He had thought he would see some calm warrior and gain some courage himself.

Then Harry saw Lu Ke who really didn't care.

But contrary to what he imagined, Harry became even more nervous.

Lu Ke seemed to want to come over and comfort Harry, but Ludo Bagman spoke: "Come on, you must draw lots first, and then I must remind you that each of you must get the golden egg."

Then comes the drawing of lots.

Ludo Bagman placed a large bag in front of the warriors.

"Lady first."

Fleur reached into the bag and took out a small miniature model, which was the Green Dragon of Wales. There was a number plate tied around its neck with the number two written on it.

Next is Cedric's No. 1 Swedish Brachysaurus, and Bloom's No. 3 Chinese Fireball.

Harry is Hungarian Horntail Number Four.

What remains in the end is what everyone knows, Ukrainian Iron Belly No. 5.

Even at this time, Harry still felt a little sympathy for Lu Ke, who was the biggest of all the fire dragons.

Then Harry woke up, Lu Ke didn't need sympathy at all.

The black dragon he transformed into had a bigger belly than an iron belly.

Harry began to hope that Luke would save him.
