Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 12 Returning the Artifact

Climb the ramp and walk into the castle, and the hall is right in front of you.

When Harry and others were about to enter the hall, they suddenly heard Professor McGonagall's voice.

"Hermione Granger."

Hermione whispered "Don't worry" to both Harry and walked over.

"Lu Ke, Johanna Shafik."

Lu Ke was stunned for a moment, and then left the crowd with Johanna.

Together they walked up to Professor McGonagall and followed her up the stairs and into an office.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have called you here at this time, but I had to."

As he spoke, Professor McGonagall nodded to Madam Pomfrey on the side.

Johanna sighed longly: "I'm fine. I ate chocolate and I'm much better now."

Madam Pomfrey shook her head: "It's not up to you to decide whether something happens to you."

She walked up to Johanna and looked at her carefully.

"You seem to be really fine..."

Professor McGonagall nodded: "Then Shafiq, you can wait outside. I have a question to tell her about Granger's class schedule... Lu Ke stays."

Lu Ke nodded, he had already guessed what Professor McGonagall was going to say.

Johanna nodded and walked out of the room with Madam Pomfrey.

Professor McGonagall sighed: "Granger, you are too greedy. Lu Ke is because you want to be a teaching assistant. You simply want to choose so many courses. I am very worried..."

Hermione looked disappointed: "Did the application fail?"

Professor McGonagall shook her head: "No, it succeeded, that's why I'm so worried."

As she said this, she walked up to Lu Ke.

"I'm very happy, Lu Ke, you always seem to be able to make choices that make me feel at ease..."

Lu Ke smiled and nodded: "I just don't need it."

As he spoke, he took the time turner off his neck.

In fact, he needed to use the Time Turner last year because he had to be a teaching assistant for several elective courses, but he didn't need it this semester. The Muggle Studies class was getting better and Lu Ke was no longer needed as a teaching assistant. The Care of Magical Creatures class was no longer needed. Also, the original Professor Kettleburn retired, so Lu Ke's teaching assistant naturally ended.

Teaching assistants cannot miss every class, so there are two less teaching assistants. Although Lu Ke has two elective courses to take, the pressure is greatly reduced and he no longer needs a time turner.

Professor McGonagall took it and sighed: "A wizard once went crazy because of a time turner. I'm glad you didn't."

Lu Ke glanced at Hermione helplessly: "Maybe it's not that serious after all..."

Professor McGonagall glanced at Hermione: "If possible, I hope Granger can give up the time turner quickly."

With that said, she handed the time turner in her hand to Hermione: "Use it well and never use it outside of study. I'm not trying to scare you."

Hermione nodded confidently: "I'll make good use of it."

Professor McGonagall looked at Hermione deeply, then smiled and handed the time turner into Hermione's hands: "You have always been the pride of Gryffindor."

Then she took a deep breath: "Go to the hall quickly, the banquet should have just started."

Lu Ke nodded, and then walked out of the room with Hermione.

When walking towards the hall, Johanna leaned next to Hermione and glanced at the time turner casually: "New necklace?"

Hermione shook her head in embarrassment.

Johanna smiled.

Then they walked into the hall and separated at the door of the hall. Luke and Johanna returned to the Slytherin table, and Hermione returned to Harry and Harry.

"It's such a shame that we missed the sorting ceremony and it was your second time."

Johanna sighed casually.

Lu Ke smiled and shook his head: "It's no big deal."

"Are you OK?"

Johanna shook her head: "Of course something happened, but since it's because of the dementors, then you can only admit that you are unlucky."

Lu Ke sighed: "Sorry, I can't do anything about the dementors."

Johanna shook her head: "Don't think I don't know the Patronus Charm, but Dementors...can you imagine? When the Death Eaters rushed over, there was a Dementor in the middle, and then I couldn't see anything. …”

"You can only fight in the dark, the spell will not hit the target."

Lu Ke nodded: "You help me deal with the dementors, and I'll help you deal with the wizards."

Johanna was stunned for a moment: "Did you make a mistake? You should deal with the dementors first."

Lu Ke shook his head: "Use the Patronus Charm first."

Johanna sighed: "Then I can also deal with the wizards next, and you will be useless."

Lu Ke was stunned for a moment.

Then he sighed: "I rush up first, and the dementor will try to use that move. Then I punch it, and you can use the Patronus Charm at that time."

Johanna nodded: "Dementor's Kiss, you will die."

Lu Ke shook his head: "I tried it once."

Johanna glanced at Lu Ke in shock: "This is... the most handsome announcement I have heard in a long time. Are you a peacock showing off your tail feathers?"

Lu Ke shook his head.

Johanna sighed: "Okay, I can try it next time."

Then Dumbledore's voice suddenly came from down the hall.

He stressed the issue of dementors with great seriousness.

As "reliable employees" of the Ministry of Magic, the Dementors stayed in Hogwarts to hunt down Sirius. After that, all students had to learn to deal with them.

Then there are two new professors. Coincidentally, Lu Ke happens to know them both.

One is Lupin, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, and the other is Hagrid, the new Care of Magical Creatures professor.

Lu Ke knew that Lupine was a rare and reliable Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. As for Hagrid, he was definitely the most unreliable Care of Magical Creatures professor in the history of Hogwarts.

You know, at first he actually wanted to choose "The Monster Book of Monsters" as the textbook for the Magical Creatures Care class. Lu Ke tried his best to persuade him to change it to the reliable and plain "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".

But Lu Ke knew that Hagrid's nature was hard to change, and if he was not careful, he would definitely create a big trouble.

After the dinner, Lu Ke and Johanna followed the others back to the common room.

They sat together on the sofa in the common room, watching the new students happily follow their prefects to find their dormitories.

"The female prefect you are most familiar with has graduated."

Johanna said casually.

Lu Ke nodded: "Thank you Shafiq's family for providing her with a job."

Johanna smiled: "You're welcome."

Then she shook her head: "The mysterious man is working hard..."
