Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 54 Spring Outing and Picnic

Lu Ke couldn't help but wonder what happened.

It seems that since he became the successor of Hufflepuff, the founder of Hufflepuff, who is good at making friends, Lu Ke has had a lot of troubles related to interpersonal relationships.

Ms. Ghost Green, the originally reformed Malfoy, Johanna and Hermione.

Of course, Hermione and Luke are not friends, and Johanna is.

Lu Ke had no idea who he and Johanna were, at least they didn't seem to be friends.

Lu Ke closed the book and then stood up: "We will rest on Sunday. This is what Professor McGonagall told me before. Let's go Harry, Weasley and Granger."

But both Harry and Ron looked at Hermione hesitantly.

Hermione's face was filled with anger, as if she was about to refute Lu Ke.

But Lu Ke spoke before her: "Do you want to see the talking residents under the Black Lake?"

Harry and Ron nodded in surprise.

Even Hermione looked surprised: "Inside the Black Lake? What is it?"

Lu Ke smiled and walked towards the library exit: "Just go and take a look and you'll find out."

The trio hesitated and followed.

Together they walked out into the wind which was still a bit cold, but the heat from the sun kept them warm.

The sky is as blue as a gem.

The water of the black lake is sparkling, and a huge octopus can be seen skimming on the water in the distance.

Lu Ke took them to the water's edge.

Then sit on the grass.

Hermione put the big book in her hand on the grass: she had taken the book she was reading with her when she went out.

"So, what exactly is it you want us to see?"

Lu Ke smiled: "Don't worry."

He walked to the water's edge, lowered his head and buried his face in the water.

Then he shouted: "Come to the spring outing!"

Although the lake water is very cold, Lu Ke can tolerate it.

The three Harrys on the side looked at Lu Ke blankly: "What did you do?"

Lu Ke wiped the lake water off his face and returned to the trio: "Invite friends to come for a spring outing."

Then he snapped his fingers.

A house elf appeared out of thin air with a sound like a firecracker exploding, spread out a tablecloth on the grass, and placed fruits, drinks, and snacks on it.

Then it smiled, bowed to Lu Ke and disappeared.

The trio looked at Lu Ke in surprise: "What is that?"

Lu Ke just smiled: "A strong friend, he is always willing to help, but he is unwilling to stay by my side."

The trio had no idea what Lu Ke was talking about.

But Harry was already smiling and picking up a chocolate bar from the tablecloth.

Hermione was silent for a moment and did not stop Harry and Ron, but they did not move either.

Then suddenly, a fishman riding a horse-headed water monster rushed out of the black lake.

"Hi, Lu Ke!"

That was the matriarch of the merfolk.

Lu Ke stood up with a smile and walked to the shore: "Hi."

But the matriarch wasn't smiling.

"So there are no enemies and no trouble here. What on earth are you doing, Lu Ke?"

Lu Ke smiled: "Friends gathering."

The matriarch smiled and sank into the water. The tail of the horse-headed water monster stirred up the lake water and almost sprinkled it on Lu Ke.

Lu Ke took a step back and returned to the trio.

Harry looked at him in surprise: "What is that?"

"Mermaid, they have a village under the Black Lake. They are my friends."

Ron looked at Black Lake in surprise, his mouth still full of apples, and muttered vaguely: "She doesn't look very friendly."

Lu Ke could only smile helplessly.

"It seems like they don't like partying too much."

Then the matriarch reappeared on the water.

"So why did you do this, Lu Ke?"

Lu Ke smiled: "I think we are friends. Shouldn't friends get together? I don't think there is a reason."

The matriarch smiled and shook her head: "Bu Lu Ke, this is not the way for a mermaid to spend time with friends, unless you need my help with something."

Lu Ke sighed: "No."

The matriarch nodded: "I'm glad that you can think of us. Goodbye Lu Ke."

After saying that, she sank into the water and disappeared.

Ron said blankly: "Oh, she's gone..."

Lu Ke nodded, then returned to the trio: "That's right."

Ron smiled awkwardly.

Harry looked at Lu Ke curiously: "Do they really have a village under the Black Lake?"

Lu Ke nodded: "And they like singing, although it may not be suitable for wizards."

Just then, the twins came over.

They were undoubtedly enjoying the Sunday afternoon, but the spring outing like Lu Ke and the four of them was definitely more pleasant than they had planned.

"Hi Ron, Harry, Hermione, and Luke!"

The twins smiled and snatched the apple from Ron's hand, then sat next to Lu Ke: "So are you using magic to create food?"

Lu Ke smiled and shook his head: "No."

The twins shook their heads: "Then it must have been Hermione. She is the pride of Gryffindor."

Lu Ke and Hermione looked puzzled at the same time.

The twins smiled and continued: "Just like Johanna from Slytherin, right? Why didn't she come to Lu Ke with you?"

Lu Ke hesitated: "She..."

Then the twins jumped up: "Oh, we saw it. He is as elusive as Peeves, Johanna."

Johanna didn't seem to want to be discovered, she stopped with a cold face.

Lu Ke stood up hesitantly: "Johanna?"

Johanna turned her face and glanced sideways at Lu Ke: "Lu Ke."

Lu Ke noticed something.

He took a step forward.

Then Lu Ke saw Johanna's face: "The curse has worsened?"

Johanna wanted to break free from Lu Ke's hand, but she failed.

"let me go!"

Johanna's voice was extremely hoarse.

Lu Ke shook his head: "I will take out the magic stone, there is no need to continue."

Johanna shook her head: "You can't!"

The twins took a cautious step back, but the trio moved closer.

Johanna wanted to hide away, but it was too late.

Hermione saw Johanna's face.

It didn't look like the face of a twelve-year-old girl.

She seemed to have grown up by ten years in an instant, but her body had not changed and her skin was incredibly pale.

Facing Hermione's gaze, Johanna gave up her struggle.

But she still stared at Lu Ke coldly.

Lu Ke hesitated for a moment and let go.

Johanna turned and left.

Lu Ke followed.

He turned around and took a look. There were many students on the grass in the distance.

Malfoy and his followers were among them.

The two walked into the castle one after the other.

"So what exactly happened?"

Lu Ke caught up with Johanna.

"The mysterious man decided to take action, but unfortunately he happened to be able to see Hermione."
