Tang Li glanced at Huangfu Lin.

"Have you seen my secretary? She has purple-highlighted hair, is shorter than me, and appears pretty innocent.'' Although she asked it, she did not think Huangfu Lin would know about Si Xiu.

"Are you talking about your cousin?"

She was taken aback. No wonder this girl is the head of a royal family. She even knows about such confidential information.

"Yes, have you seen her?"

"Well…" The girl hesitated for a bit before speaking, "She…has taken up a task."

"What task?"

"Sister Li, you should go to check on brother…cough…brother-in-law. I'll go to Si Xiu and General Ye while my men will guard this door. How about that?"

Tang Li nodded, "Make sure your men take care of this," She pointed at the creepy jade bangle, "Well, even if anyone gets their hand on this. I don't think they can do anything."

In the innermost VIP room of the superyacht.

''This might be our last day today," Ye Jie glanced at Si Xiu, "Are you still ignoring me?" He asked leaning back on the wall beside the bed.

"You think I am ignoring you? I am just focusing on this because I am not eager to die like you?'' She Xiu spoke in a soft voice adjusting the EOD suit properly.

The king-sized bed was turned upside down revealing countless bombs intricately woven beneath it. She swiftly cut the red wire diffusing the third bomb.

"Can you be a little serious at times like this? Help me with this," She pointed at the bombs. As faster as she was, it would take her forever to deal with all these.

Ye Jie sighed, "But I need your help…I am not feeling well…"

"What happened to you?'' Her head snapped at his directions.

"My heart is not working properly. It skips a beat whenever I look at you," As cheesy as it sounds, it was the biggest truth on his part.

Her gaze turned intense, "Ye Jie, you should know that yesterday was a mistake. We both are adults. It was not my first, neither was it yours," She had a few flings in the past.

Having sex is not sacred for her, falling in love is!

She continued, "We both are adults. And sex is common. Let's just get past that, shall we?" Her feelings regarding him were starting to get weirder the moment he removed her makeup and told her how beautiful she was.

But she was not mistaking this for love, not when she was confessing to Li Yu yesterday.

She knew she had to get the clarity back in her mind.

His face drooped at her words, "Let me help you," He said.

''Hey, I know you're an expert but deal with it carefully," She spoke up when she noticed how he was snapping the wires without having a proper look.

The man paused but soon he continued his actions.

"Miss Si," Huangfu Lin stepped inside the luxurious room.

"Miss Huangfu," Si Xiu stood up, a professional smile immediately made its way back to her lips.

"Well, you should leave. I'll be here with General Ye. Sister Li is looking for you," She said, walking towards Ye Jie.

Si Xiu nodded at her before looking at the man's back for one last time before leaving the room.

"Instead of venting your frustration on wires, why didn't you just tell her about how you feel?" She asked curiously, looking at the bombs that had yet to be activated. Luckily, this setup was discovered at the time.

But even if they were not activated, one wrong wire, and it will blast without hesitation. This was the most dangerous part regarding these types of newly-invented bombs.

Ye Jie paused and glanced at the elegant woman, not expecting her to eavesdrop on their conversation.

The girl shook her head, "I didn't eavesdrop. I just happened to hear it."

Ye Jie pouted slightly, ''If I ask her to try it out with me, I bet she won't look at my face right now," That bastard, Li Yu, stabbed her at the weakest spots in heart.

Huangfu Lin sighed, "Here comes one of the reasons I've decided to stay miles away from relationships."

Ye Jie laughed, "As long as we don't meet the right person, we all speak the same words."

She raised an eyebrow. Right person? There is no one made in this world who could deal with her. She was confident about that.

Back to the deck.

Tang Li was standing behind the wall observing the situation. From the looks of it, Mo Yuhan had the entire situation under control.

All the men from the Kingsman Faction were lying on the ground weaponless. There were a few people on Mo Yuhan's side that include her team of bodyguards, the Li brothers, and Ethan. Ethan's team and Mo Yuhan's personal team were nowhere to be seen.

She concluded that he has sent them back by the rescue boats. Since her bodyguards won't take orders from anyone else other than her, they must have stuck to him like a leech.

If everything was under control, then the only reason they were on the yacht right now must be because of that jade bangle that had yet to come to Huangfu Lin's hand. But without Mo Yuhan's help, they could not get it if what she thought is true.

Just as she was about to step out of her hiding place, she noticed a shadow in the further darkest corner. Although she could not see the man but there was no mistake a gun was pointing out of the opaque glass wall.

She slowly gazed in the direction the gun was being pointed at and her heart skipped a beat when she saw Mo Yuhan standing right at the edge of the deck, under the target.
