From Dusk till Dawn!

If it was Beijing, Tang Li would not have needed to be cautious of such things. She could have any hotel vacated at her wish. Even in America, she had the power to do so but she did not want to do anything to attract attention right at this moment.

Even when they went to the museum after getting information about Mo Yuhan, she never expected danger lurking out there for her. She was hundred and one percent sure that the mercenaries were there for her, either to abduct her or kill her.

So, until she found Mo Yuhan, she decided to be as low-profile as possible.

The top floor of the hotel was currently reserved by her. Li Yu and Si Xu were residing in the Presidential suites while she lived in the penthouse.

As they walked towards the penthouse, Tang Li freed her hand from Si Xiu's grin, "You both can leave now," She said before walking sliding her key card.

Si Xiu furrowed her brows but Li Yu could not control his temper as he spoke up, "Are you trying to make me feel guilty or what? Then you better listen up, these cheap tricks of yours are not going to work on me. Just because you are injured, we both accompanied you so that we could help you with your injuries. What's up with your attitude? Who do you think you are to think that I will be there at your beck and call? If you can not appreciate other's concerns, then no one is dying here to help you. At least, I am not. You die or live; it has got nothing to do with me. If it was not because of President's order, I would not have been here," His voice was extremely harsh.

He was frustrated by this woman's attitude. For his mistake, he got demoted to the position of her bodyguard and he accepted his punishment without qualms. But this woman was making him crazy. First, she blackmailed him by slitting her wrist to reveal Mo Yuhan's whereabouts, and now that they are here, she had tantrums. What was she even trying to prove by doing all this? Even if his boss was in danger today, wasn't it all because of her?

Si Xiu was speechless. She realized that both of them had deep enmity from the very first moment she saw them but she was still stunned at Li Yu's outburst.

Tang Li paused in her tracks before turning around, she felt a little week and exhausted yet her aura was undeniably strong. She leaned on the side of the wall for support, her hazel eyes flashed with a cold glint, "You think highly of yourself, Captain… Ex-Captain Li," Li Yu flinched at the mention of 'Ex-Captain' while Si Xiu rubbed her arms feeling the dropped in temperature because of Tang Li's mood.

Tang Li's voice turned colder as she continued, "I said you owe me one. I wanted you to be indebted to me which is why I saved you?"

"Why?" Li Yu's eyes widened at her words. What was this woman scheming?

"You are hiding information, Li Yu. And I want to know everything, every single thing that you are holding back," Tang Li's lips tugged up as she watched the disbelief written all over the man's face, "Go take a rest. Meet me tomorrow at sharp 8:00 am," She said looking at both Li Yu and Si Xiu before walking inside the penthouse.

Si Xiu sighed as she looked at the man who was standing rooted to the spot in astonishment. Honestly, she was a little confused about few things. Maybe, she will have to wait till tomorrow to know about it. She patted Li Yu's shoulder before walking towards her suite. She needed a good rest to let her toenail recover.

Li Yu snapped out of his daze. He turned around to look at the woman who patted his shoulder, his eyes flashed. He inhaled a deep breath before looking back at the closed door of the penthouse, anger burned in his eyes. Tang Li tricked him!

Right now, he had two options. The first was to come clear to her about everything that he was hiding but it will mean betraying his boss. Second, he would not answer her but that meant he would be going back on his words; he indeed owed her for saving his life.

Being a proud man, he would be ashamed of himself for going back on his words. He clenched his fists before walking towards his suite.

Tang Li placed her hand on the wall as she walked towards the couch. Her arm was severely injured despite dodging the bullet. As she reached the couch, she let her body fall on it. 

She tried to removed Si Xiu's coat wrapped around her body but the back coat was clinging tightly to the wound. She slowly tried to remove it but since the blood has dried up, it was immensely painful. 

She bit her bottom lip and closed her eyes. She took a deep breath before tugging the coat harshly removing it from her arm. Fresh blood gushed out of her wound and she slumped on the couch, gasping for air.

After taking a few deep breathes, she stood up to walk towards her bed before taking out a first-aid box from the bedside drawer. 

Treating her wounds, she thought back to what happened today. When her secretary stopped her to walk out of the maze, she would have done so.

But the first thought that came to her mind was that maybe Mo Yuhan was there. She always thought he was the Crown Prince of Mo Family and CEO of Mo Empires but since the day she saw the hidden compartment in his car that was equipped with guns, she realized that there was more to him she did not know about.

But they never had a proper discussion about it. He never explained it nor did she bother to ask. She was not a clingy one, while she wanted Mo Yuhan to share everything with her, she had the patience to wait for him to open up.
