From Dusk till Dawn!

Chapter 303: Psychopath

But she was not insane. Everything was real last night, from his heartfelt confessions to their passionate sex, everything has been real.

But waking up on a cold bed left her mind blank. No, he has always stayed with her till she woke up, he would rather have her sleep some more.

So, despite the unease she felt while not waking up to his handsome face, she pushed herself out of bed, expecting him to be in the shower or cooking for her. It was usually what he did. She was being needy but she wanted to hug him and kiss or cuddle with him. With this in her mind, she had entered the bathroom but to her surprise, there was no one inside.

She then checked downstairs too, but he was also not in the kitchen. The chocolate cake that he baked for her caught her attention and she could not believe that he left her in the house all alone.

She was not a kid, not afraid of dark…uh…probably a little but she was surely not afraid of staying alone. It just does not feel right to not have him around. For some people, sex is not always about pleasure and release, and she was exactly the kind of person who expects to wake up to her partner's face in her sight.

It was her kind of peace, to wake up to Mo Yuhan stroking her cheeks, playing with her hair, teasing her with his slow touch, or else seducing her for another round. She was used to it, used to his attention and adoration.

It felt like being splashed with cold water when he left her alone in the bed, in the house that felt cold without his presence.

There was no sticky note on her bedside table or no chocolate that he would leave for her. Instead, all she found was simple text on her phone that said 'I've some important work so don't contact me.'

They were a few simple words to text but it had gotten onto her nerves. Normally, she was not an arrogant or egoistic person but she was provoked this time. After freshening up and getting ready, she left for the company early today.

His text seemed like he was trying to jerk off some clingy girlfriend and it certainly got the best of her as she decided to not text him or call him. When he came back from his so-called important work, she would just ignore him. For the next month, he should be prepared to sleep with his important work.

"What is up with you, Mo Yuhan?" She murmured to herself as her brows bumped together. Looking at the time, she stood up from the couch. It was past six o'clock in the evening and she felt mentally drained at this point.

Is he playing hard-to-get? While walking out of the company, she could not help but give it a thought. Call it being narcissistic but she did not what was going on at this moment.

When she reached Grace Villa, she was greeted with Li Yu's livid face as he said, "Miss Tang, you should get freshened up so that we could start training," He was out for some work in the early in the morning but when he came back, the woman was nowhere in sight even though it was not the usual time she left for office.

Tang Li narrowed her eyes as she looked at the man. That day, when she was cornered by the reporters, he just stood at the side to watch the show, putting personal grudges over professional ethics. But then again, he thought of her as a woman who did not deserve to stand beside his god.

Without giving him a reply, she entered inside.

Li Yu frowned as he followed the woman. He asked her something, did she not have the decency to give a proper reply?

Although he was irritated, but he curbed his temper because of the guilt. No matter how much he hated someone, he was not an asshole of a man who would let someone attack a woman's weakness in front of him. That day was an accident but he knew somewhere it was his fault.

Just like a stroke of humid air and we know summer is on the way.

And maybe it was something of that sort because Tang Li could feel the vibes of loneliness in the house. He is not back.

She turned around to look at Li Yu, her eyes cold, "Where is Mo Yuhan?" She threw the question in her mind. To hell with ego when it involves her man. So what if he asked her not to contact him; she-is-not-going-to-give-a-damn!

A small flinch. A flash of nervousness. An ounce of guilt. That was what she noticed on the man's face before his expression changed in a split-second. "I don't know President's whereabouts," the man answer to which Tang Li chuckled.

But the more she laughed like that, the more Li Yu felt uneasy, it was as if he was sitting on thorns. He kept his head down, not wanting to meet the woman's inquisitive gaze.

"Where is he?" There was an edge to her voice.

"I have no idea," The man replied once again, he did not have the guts to go against Mo Yuhan's orders.

Tang Li nodded, a smile resting on her lips, "Good," She turned around and sauntered off in the direction of the living room, the smile on her lips disappeared and her expressions turned frigid, realizing that she might have misunderstood things.

But her smile and calm expression did not help Li Yu who was not good at lying. Instead of being relieved, he felt even more complicated looking at the woman's retreating back. Although her expressions were unfazed, but she looked like a psychopath at that moment.

His eyes widened as he followed after her, trying to guess what was the woman up to. A few months ago if somebody had told him that he would be reduced to such a point, he would have laughed at them.

"Yes?"
