From Dusk till Dawn!

Tang Li picked up her bag from her office desk before putting her phone inside it. She suddenly felt a strange excitement to see Mo Yuhan as soon as possible.

"Is it the rain or am I just being needy?'' She was even feeling those butterflies in her stomach. Whatever, I'll just go meet him first.

"Little Li~ Boohoo," A certain someone pushed the door open before running towards her.

Tang Li stood rooted to the spot as she watched Ying Yue who pounced on her without a warning. The woman sobbed as she hugged her tightly.

After what seemed like a long time, she parted from the hug as she flashed Tang Li a grievous look, "You... You should comfort me while I'm crying like this...sob... What kind of friend are you?"

Tang Li was speechless. Didn't she just lend her shoulder to cry on?

"What's up with that look?"

"You're drenched and dirty," Tang Li replied.

Ying Yue looked at her body. She was indeed drenched, there was even mud that was splashed on her dress. She raised her hand to touch her cheeks, her makeup has surely smudged since she did not use the waterproof ones.

Wait.. why did it even matter?

"I'm indeed dirty so what's up with that?" She has long forgotten that she was crying as she questioned Tang Li.

Tang Li pointed her index finger at her face, "You look like an abandoned cat, right now."

Ying Yue's lips twitched. Why did her hands felt itchy suddenly? She would not be sent to jail for punching the President of Ash Corporation in the face, right?

Unaware of her friend's inner thoughts, Tang Li continued, "Despite all these facts, I hugged you back. On what basis, are you blaming me for not comforting you?"

Ying Yue:"_" Little Li surely has a way with words, no wonder she is the queen of business industry.

"Err...My bad.." she murmured as she looked at Tang Li's clothes which were already dirtied because of her hug. Considering her OCD, she indeed comforted her in her own way.

She felt guilty for accusing her.

"Why were you crying?" Tang Li asked, "Did someone break your heart yet again?"

Ying Yue looked at her for a few seconds before speaking up, "Mo Zihan.." She murmured.

Tang Li raised an eyebrow as the woman continued, "The crush that I mentioned last time…It's Mo Zihan.."

Tang Li pursed her lips after hearing that.

'Tell me, who did you fall for?' She had asked him that day to which Mo Zihan replied, 'She is your best friend.'

Mo Zihan and Ying Yue have only met once or twice, according to her. And with a casual mention of Ying Yue's name, Mo Zihan would get grumpy and all irritated.

While Lin Shi on the other hand has worked with Mo Zihan for years. They have been comrades so she would not be surprised if love bloomed between them.

Although she had been wanting to pair Lin Shi up with Qin Jingze but who can control love?

So, when Mo Zihan mentioned it, the best friend that came to her mind at first thought was Lin Shi.

Since she was quite busy, she forgot to ask Ying Yue about it.

"He has someone he loves." Tang Li calmly said after being reminded of Mo Zihan's confession on the day Su Yahui had an accident.

She did not want to give Ying Yue false hopes.

Ying Yue stiffened. She told Tang Li about her crush just to make sure about this but now that she knew it, her heart felt like it has been squeezed.

"Oh, who is it?" She casually asked.

Tang Li tilted her head to the side as she looked at her face, the woman's eyes were all red and puffy, she looked like nothing like the confident and bold supermodel she knew, she did not appear like the brazen woman that always had that 'I don't care' attitude.

Instead, she looked like a mess, just like how she had been years ago when she met her for the first time when she brought her out of that dark slum.

"You don't know her," she lied, her hazel eyes flashed.

She was not sure about the status of their love triangle. She did not know if Lin Shi liked Mo Zihan or if it was one-sided love on his part. But at this point, she just did not want to destroy the friendship between Lin Shi and Ying Yue as of now.

"You like him that much?" Tang Li asked looking at her miserable face.

Ying Yue looked at Tang Li as she fidgeted with her phone for a few seconds before keeping it on the desk. She put her bag beside it, taking her time to come up with a reply.

She suddenly regretted being impulsive and telling her everything. Mo Zihan was her friend's younger brother-in-law. They were family while she was Little Li's best friend.

She did not want to complicate things making her choose between them.

It was her fault in the first place, she got herself entangled with a committed man.

Even though Tang Li did not show it, she has always cared for her. Ying Yue did not know if this would change things between Mo Zihan and Tang Li.

According to Tang Li, Mo Zihan was in love with someone else. If she got to know about their one-night-stand, she would surely be mad at Mo Zihan.

Other than that, will she detest her for seducing him?

"I don't..'' She denied liking him since she knew that once she opened her mouth and told one truth, she would eventually end up vomiting everything in front of her who was the most important in her life.

Tang Li glanced at her with a doubtful expression on her face.

On the other side, Mo Zihan walked out of the private elevator before walking towards Tang Li's office in excitement. He was sure that she must be here.

His face was filled with excitement.

"Good evening, Vice President Mo," The manager of the HR department greeted the man.

Mo Zihan flashed him a dazzling smile as he glanced at the man from head to toe, "Xiao Cheng, not bad. Has anyone told you that you're looking handsome today?" He complimented the man as he fixed his tie.

The man named Xiao Cheng blushed. Their charming Vice President seemed to be in a very good mood today for his smile today was not like the usual fake ones that he flashed at the employees as danger signs.

Mo Zihan increased his pace. He could not wait to see her. He has already made all the preparations. He was going to give her a grand proposal tonight.

'What if she said no?' His mind asked.

The heart replied, 'You should keep pursuing her till she says yes.'

With all the happiness evident on her face, he pushed the glass door only to find Ying Yue standing with her back facing towards him.

His eyes brightened.

"Little Li, why are you looking at me like that? You don't believe me?" Ying Yue chuckled.
