Fox in the Penalty Area

Foreword Willfulness

The new book is finally here with you.

After finishing the last book, I took a long break.

It's been such a long break before two books in a row.

I found that as I got older, as my kids got older, and as I faced more and more things, I took longer and longer breaks with each book I wrote.

In the past, I was able to rest for a month, which was regarded as a long rest.

Thinking that I am almost forty years old, and I have been writing about the same subject for seventeen years, it seems normal.

If I can keep writing at the same speed that I wrote about the hero of the restricted area and the winner takes the king, then there will be a problem...

During the few months of rest, I read some books, made up some movies, played a few games, and took the time to think about what kind of book to write.

The original idea for this book came to me during the final volume of the previous book.

But the things that this book is going to tell are not only available at that time, but earlier, before the writing of "Green Fields". Yep, that idea came to me late in my writing on Heart of a Champion.

I have written about football for 17 years, I have written about campus football (Do you care if I play football, I am a waste), I have written about professional football (we are champions, etc.), I have written from the perspective of players, I have written from the perspective of coaches I also wrote for the perspective.

I'm sure I'll keep writing, but what else?

When I wrote about Icardi in the last book, I made up a character of Icardi, and I also explained this matter specifically.

Because before that, I wanted to write a completely fictional football world.

This idea became more and more intense as I wrote "Green Fields", and finally made me make up my mind.

If there is something I feel strongly about writing about, then I should write about it.

To this end, I had a long chat with the editor-in-chief.

Changtian is a good editor-in-chief, but he didn't tell me what to write and what not to write. He just analyzed the two situations for me, put them in front of me, and let me choose.

He told me that if I continue to write traditional football novels based on real professional football, I should be able to achieve guaranteed results in electronic subscriptions. After all, I have written such stories for so many years, and everyone is familiar with them and has a basic set.

But he also agreed with my idea of wanting to open up a new path, just telling me to be prepared to lose results.

After thinking about it, I chose to write this book, a novel about a football world with infinite possibilities that is not based on a fictional football world.

In the world I have created, there are no familiar clubs and star names, nor are there any football stories and histories that we like to talk about.

Everything is brand new, everything can be shaped, I will be the god of this world, shape the characters and stories according to my hospital, and convey to you all the things I want to tell.

The difference from the original traditional football novel is that I will not worry that this writing does not conform to the characters of Messi and Ronaldo, and I will not worry about rich fans coming to scold me for hacking their home team, and I will not be limited by what has happened Or the fact that it didn't happen.

Of course, this will inevitably reduce a lot of sense of substitution.

But as I said before, I'm already mentally prepared for the results to hit the street. Anyway, I have to try it.

When I am about to turn 40, I will try again.

So this is a very willful book. I am very willful in my thoughts about this book, and I am also very willful about the book itself. I am willful in thinking and writing.

This time I just want to write a story I want to write, and write about the people I want to write about.

It would be great if you also like my self-willed story and those self-willed people.
