Within the next few days, Lex and his fox beast army had not only wiped out the Armadillo Beast Tribe, but also the Boa Beast Tribe.

In the same way as the other large Beast Tribes, Lex headed straight for the Boa Beast King and found that it was an enormous snake beast that had adapted to living in the Underground Coves.

It was the largest beast he had come across and it had powerful scales all around its body, that although weren't as powerful as the Armadillo Beast King's Shell, were very hard to break past.

It wasn't a venomous snake beast, but its sharp teeth were sharp and strong enough to pierce through Lex's body, and its speed was shocking.

Its aim was to constrict and squeeze the life out of Lex, and it was a battle of attrition, which Lex came out on top of as he managed to break past its scales and slowly damaged it by continuously attacking it with the Penetrative Fist.

All meanwhile the fox beasts had only suffered a few dozen casualties, which they made up for with the new borns.

They had all strengthened themselves massively and the weakest of the beasts were at the Sky Mortal Rank, while the strongest were stuck at the peak of the Sky Mortal Rank and couldn't yet breakthrough to the Heaven Mortal Rank.

[It seems that the breakthrough into the Heaven Mortal Rank is a big breakthrough for these fox beasts, just like mine is. I wonder what they will gain after breaking through] observed Lex.

They were able to battle against Heaven Mortal beasts by overwhelming them with their numbers and tactics, but that wouldn't work against the giant ant beasts that were also intelligent and had a many times larger population.

[System how would I help the Unit Leaders breakthrough into the Heaven Mortal Rank] asked Lex, hoping that there was something he could do to speed up the process.

The bottleneck that they reached wasn't one that they could easily overcome, and the Unit Leaders had been stuck at that level for too long.

Lex was weighing his options and whether it was worth it to use the Beast Cores of the Beast Kings, that he was saving for his own breakthrough, and was unsure whether to go through with it or not.

{Ding, the system would recommend the host to do so, and if the host is capable of winning against the giant ant beast tribe, the host should have more than enough energy to breakthrough with their beast cores, while the host may also find other things that may strengthen the host} advised the system, hinting at the existence of a treasure, which Lex had already ȧssumed.

He had three cores that would allow the Unit Leaders to breakthrough, but 5 Unit Leaders.

He didn't know which ones to choose, and decided to allow them to decide for themselves. If they weren't able to decide, he would make them battle against each other and the three strongest would receive them.

"I have 3 cores that can help you to breakthrough, and you must decide who will be the one's to breakthrough" stated Lex to the Unit Leaders.

He was expecting them to fight over the opportunity, but the 1st Unit Leader and 5th Unit Leader that were currently the strongest and led the strongest units, were the ones to step back and allow the other 3 Unit Leaders to take up the opportunity.

They made that decision based on the fact that they were the ones with the weakest offensive ability based on their characteristics, as the 1st Unit Leader was a red fox beast that had sharp senses and reflexes and the 5th Unit Leader was a yellow fox beast that had the toughest fur.

The other 3 Unit Leaders gladly accepted and agreed with their fellow Unit Leaders' decision as they stepped forth to breakthrough.

Lex went along with their decision, and could see their reasoning behind it, then passed each of the 3 Unit Leaders one of the Beast Kings' beast cores that he had wanted to use himself.

Without hesitation, the Unit Leaders swallowed the large beast cores all at once.

For a few minutes, nothing happened, but then there was a sudden explosion around the 3 fox beasts as they began rapidly absorbing the energy in the area around them.

What shocked Lex was that could see that they were not only strengthening their External Cultivation, like all beasts did, but they were also cultivating Internally.

[It seems as though the breakthrough to the Heaven Mortal Rank required them to be at the Peak Sky Mortal Rank both Internally and Externally, and all the energy from the beast king cores were used for their Internal Cultivation] observed Lex.

He had never expected a beast to be able to cultivate internally, and had always imagined that beasts would only need to strengthen their already powerful bodies.

But thinking about it, the Ice Leopard Beast must have had some sort of Internal Cultivation in order to shoot an ice blast from its mouth.

They had broken through within minutes and it wasn't a long process like all the other times, as they already had more than enough energy and the potential to breakthrough.

As soon as they broke through they began jumping around Lex joyously, as they suddenly began shooting out blasts of energy from their mouth, which was the most basic Internal Cultivation Skill that they could use.

Their strength had almost doubled as they also gained new abilities. Lex's gamble had paid off as the strength of his army increased.

"Time to finally head towards the giant ant beast tribe" announced Lex as he led his army towards the centre of the Underground Coves.
