The rain in summer is always fierce, washing away the dry, hot ground. The moon, wet with rain, glistens in the sky, giving off a clear, glittering light. It seems like a gauze covering the sky, fluttering and sprinkling.

Mu Jin walked along the riverside path with some supplies he had just bought from the supermarket. He watched the stars reflecting on the river like a fine layer of silver glitter.

The summer night breeze blew in, fresh and cool. It blew away the tiredness of his day and eased him forward.

The residential building is surrounded by a small public park. This is the time of day when people are out for a walk. He walks through the park, surrounded by the sound of laughter.

He walks along unhurriedly, his face gentle and cool. He is enjoying relaxation and leisure in the air.

Why bother dwelling on things now?

With a sigh, Mu Jin silently complained about his wandering thoughts.

Since the beginning of summer, the weather has become more and more stifling. The hot sun scorches the dry ground, accompanied by the chorus of cicadas outside the window.

According to the information Aunt Chen had given him, today was the day that Gao Lin was taken for his swimming session.
