Chapter 8: Cities Starting Citizenship

Cilentium Craft District, Blacksmith Town

"What do you need to worry about, a fine water wheel? Ah!

"Parents, it's not a good place. That's bigger than it was in the city I was in before.

The imperial blacksmith and his disciple, the Cliffonam, arrived in the craft district of Cilentium and were given a workshop.

Worried about whether there was a power source, a disciple from the local Alma-Le bought directions to his parents who went out for a stroll in the city, but the two were completely lost on the road.

No matter how many Alma-l origins the disciple left his homeland many years ago, not to mention the inside of Cilentium, which at that time was forbidden to approach by being called the Necromancer City.

Not to mention that the Cilentium is a renovated gesture worthy of calling itself an emerging city these days, and does not keep the landscape and streets of today even for a day.

It's not uncommon that the next day there will be a new street and a couple of houses.

"I was worried about what kind of country your hometown was, but this is the town you can expect! Oi."

"Yes, parent!

A happy apprentice, lost in the way, but finding a splendid water wheel and smiling parent.

Parents who mainly manufactured agricultural tools and living blades.

Every day when I was in the Empire, orders dropped year after year, and the only person who made money was the armorer next door.

I have confidence in my arms, I am proud of my position, I also took disciples from Cliffonam, but I have no job.

Besides, the house has four daughters and children to feed.

My parents had thought about turning to a martial arts artisan, but I could not abandon my pride as a blacksmith manufacturing folk artefacts.

One day the disciples of the Cliffonams were told that they wanted to work there because a new city had been created on the northern border.

Interested to learn more, he said he was looking for artisans and workers with imperial skills in a city called Cilentium, which was newly created on the northern border.

This was an opportune opportunity for the artisan to work.

"Whoa, then I'm going that way too! Store? This is such a good store, Tatamaya!

The immediate decision was made by his parents to persuade his family and guide his disciples to the Cilentium all the way up to the northern border, loaded with a set of family possessions and all the blacksmith tools in a carriage.

"Whoa, you're gonna make me hope!

"Parents...!

I look up at the water wheel and my parents think as I snuggle my apprentice's back.

I lost my way, but I didn't seem to have to get lost in the streets and in my life.

Cilentium Craft District, Clothes Shop Town

"Yeah, well, the way you sew there is as fine an eye as you can.

"Yes."

"... Master, is this good?

"Which... well, this would be easier to do.

"Oh, thank you!

A woman dressed in mid-forty imperial attire, who was giving careful technical instruction to Oran and Cliffonam needles, looked around and returned to her seat to resume her work.

Women's hair is pale blonde, tall, and has the characteristics of Oran and Cliffonam if you look only at its appearance.

But the language and standing behavior that was distinctly different from those of the surrounding needles was entirely that of the imperial.

Although her origins are in the area of Oran residence known as the Oranian Orienta, she lived in the Empire longer, even if she was Oran, because she was taken by her parents and moved to the Empire when she was a child.

Consequently, although the thinking, methods and customs were entirely imperial, ironically, from the appearance of the Orans themselves, they were often treated in a discriminatory manner within the empire, which made her suffer from all sorts of hardships even when she was an adult.

My husband was also a Cliffonam in the same situation as her, entering the Imperial Army in an attempt to be more imperialistic and dawning in rigorous training, but there was a ditch that would never be filled with a biological imperial.

Those two met in a garrison where my husband worked as a soldier.

Her entry into and exit from the delivery of military supplies prompted her to get to know her husband, who was in charge of supplies, and to have a sense of intimacy from their appearance and circumstances.

After her husband's discharge, although she made money making children by happily marrying them, she remained unchanged, and herself, her husband, and her children were often harassed because of their appearance traits, and she had doubts about something called an empire.

My husband brought it back one day to talk about his move to Cilentium.

After his discharge, his husband applied when he heard that he was recruiting migrants from the Veterans Association to Cilentium, where he was earning a dime for his precautionary stick in the noble mansion, but was disgusted with his slaughtered job.

When my husband revealed to his wife that he had been hired as a civil engineer and discussed his desire to move to Cilentium, I was surprised, but she accepted this with pleasure.

She then gave way to her acquaintance to a hard-earned sewing shop in an imperial town and came all the way to the northern border with her family.

Although at first it was a birthplace, and there was anxiety about life in strange places, the city of Cilentium was somewhat different though it was an empire, and a strange tranquillity was remembered by the sight of the Orans and Cliffonams, the majority of those who went on the road.

They felt that there was something in this city that they had not stopped looking for.

Arrangements were made for housing and stores, and she quickly took disciples of the young Cliffonams and Orans, and she began a free life free of bad smugness.

"Master, how do I do this?

"Oh, that's..."

As she coached the young Oran needle who came to ask questions with clothes sewn around her seat, she realized she was sincerely enjoying a serene, lively, and fulfilling day that she had never tasted in the Empire.

Cilentium City/West Side, Theonel's House

"So, you said.“ Hit that pile! "That's where I put the hammer...!

He blushes slightly in a drunken mood and wields the empty wooden cup vigorously as Theonel waves the hammer.

Then he carried the dish from the kitchen in the back, his big blue eyes, and a delightful young Cliffonam woman, with her blonde hair tied behind her, shook and said.

"Already, brother. How many times have we talked about that? One of us, Mr. Werth, is scared, too.

"No, it's okay, Tioria, I'm not frightened. It's just that you're drunk and you can talk about it all the same way over and over again."

"Is that what you're saying?

"Was it... haha.

Quintus Werth laughs furiously, a former Boreus squad deputy with an equally empty wooden cup.

Quintus is drunk, too.

Though she swelled her cheeks adorably, Theonel's sister Tioria poured barley into the empty Quintus wooden cup.

"Yes, go ahead.

"Oh, thank you..."

"What... is my brother after my boyfriend?

Shake left and right to show off your own wooden cup, where Theonel is left empty, slightly.

"Become, what are you talking about?

Tioria exhorts with a lighted face that doesn't seem like a good idea.

"No problem. I can't believe my sister would marry a comrade, it's never been this good.

Theonel said in a good mood as his sister poured him booze.

And when I see Quintus holding a wooden cup and still not drinking, I laugh a little at it.

A wooden cup, met by two breathtaking people, sounded a mild toast.

"But if you were in that Boreus bastard's unit, you'd be the real one.

"... I'd still like to strangle myself then.

The two people who had been drinking a lot laughed bitterly from neither side when they said so.

Once the position of the usurper and the usurper, the two were supposed to be relationships that never interacted.

The two reunited at Cilentium, however, hid outside the city as separate teams in the Battle of Cage Castle, and ended up tearing weirs together to contribute to a successful overflow operation to win the battle.

Fried warriors who were nearby after destroying the weir will find them, and the two troops who were there will be split apart.

Theonel and Quintus, who then fled to the wetlands with their lives, avoided the demons of the wetlands and the Fried warriors who persisted in pursuing them, sometimes fighting and helping each other to return safely to Cilentium.

At first the attitude and tone were marginal just because we knew each other's qualities, but only when we were close to protecting each other's backs while we were compelled to work together as necessary.

"" To my comrades!

And the comrade will soon be brother-in-law.

Theonel and Quintus, who became frequent after the battle of Silentium Cage Castle, reached their swallowing friends in the early and final stages.

At first it was Quintus who was reluctant on Theonel's family, but he would interact more with this Oran family within the context of being invited to visit the house.

Bringing imperial souvenirs and food, Theonel called his sister, Tioria, to that seat one day when she became friends to drink it down at Theonel's house.

Tioria has always been interested in a serious, smart Quintus of the type not found in the Orans, and Quintus also cared about the energetic girl who occasionally attends the banquet table.

This Theonel ploy hit the diagram, and Tioria, a vibrant Oran daughter, and an honest imperial general were willing to engage in that seat.

Two friends who were concerned at first, but each began to be attracted to the other within their relationship, and they became friends with men and women.

Today Quintus came to greet the head of the clan and his parents in engagement, according to Oran's manner, but it was Oran's flush to drink it down until the bottom fell out after the little difficult ritual, and Quintus, who had been baptized from time to time, successfully cut through the scene and took Tioria with him to the house of Theonel.

Theonel's wife and children were already asleep when Theonel and the others got home, but they are asleep without the usual and the way they care.

"Well swallow, brother-in-law!

"... got it. brother-in-law."

Tioria, who was glad to see the two leaning wooden cups, whispers to Quintus' ears, who vacated the wooden cup, as she gently sits beside Quintus.

"... Regards.

"Ugh... I know, this is you.

"You guys... it's still early, huh? This is my house.

Sensitive to the sweet air the two put out, Theonel embarrassed the two on the rare face.
