Blood demon leveling

The building was rather big, it took up almost all of it's plot of land and to be honest it looked like it was in bad shape with holes in the roof and walls

"This building was once home to a family that was rather well known in this city for their achievements in the dungeon, but alsa one day about five years ago they were wiped out in the dungeon and so this building has been standing empty ever since…"

Mike gave a nod

"Well then let's see what it looks like on the inside"

The estate agent let Mike and Julie inside the building and showed them around for a few minutes, just past the main entrance was the main hall witt space for about 16 beds (or about 22 if they were stacked against each other) in the main hall were a rather big kitchen too with a wood fired stove, besides that there was also four bathrooms, two for each gender

"So what do you think?"

Mike looked around again and gave a nod

"Depends on the price"

"Oh, excuse me, this building and land plot is 22.000���

Julie gave a nod before she asked Mike

"Don't you think that's reasonable?"

"Well we need some work done on it for sure but… Yeah let's take it"

"Thank you, Let's return to the office and sign the documents shall we?"

"Sure"

And so after signing the documents and paying the price Mike and Julie was left with about 30.000 left in their savings, plenty of money to buy slaves but first they needed to have some work done on the building so they were referred to a carpenter that took 5.000 for fixing the building up, Mike stretched as they walked out of the carpenter shop and spoke

"Well then, that went better than I thought…"

"Yeah, let's go shop for slaves tomorrow then"

"Sure"

Mike and Julie walked back home since the sun was starting to set and after eating dinner and telling the girls about their plans for tomorrow they went to bed early…

The next morning Mike and Julie accompanied by the three servants made their way towards the slave merchant where they had brought Clare. As soon as they walked inside they were greeted by the manger that recognized them

"Hello again, are you looking for some more slaves? Or perhaps you are here to sell Clare back?"

Mike gave a slight smile before he spoke

"Clare"

Clare walked into the building and kneeled down respectfully before she asked

"Yes master?"

Mike ignored the baffled look on the slave manager's face as he spoke

"Spin around three times and then go outside and wait with the others"

"Yes master"

Then Clare stood up and spun around exactly three times before she walked back outside, then Mike looked at the baffled slave manger that asked

"...How did you… Never mind, I don't want to know… Then I assume you are here for some more slaves?"

"Yeah, I hope you have a good selection as we a buying in bulk this time"

A glint flashed in the slave manger's eyes before he asked

"Are you perhaps starting a slave family?"

Mike gave a nod, a family in this sense was not a normal family but a big group of adventures that shared a strong bond, a few of the nobles in the city also had some rather strong slave family's, of course there was 'normal' families too made up of free adventures

"Yeah, so please give us a good price"

The slave manger gave a nod and gestured for the two of them to follow after him as he walked into the next room where they sat down before the slave manger asked

"What is your budget?"

"20.000"

"And what level slaves are you looking for?"

"Level 1 and 2"

"And the maximum number of slaves you are looking to buy is?"

"16"

"I see… Well then let me see what I can find"

The slave manger left the room and after about five minutes he returned with six slaves, Mike didn't particularly care about their appearance so he just quickly looked them over to see if they were healthy, from left to right were: a teenage girl with short brown hair, a man in his late 20's with blue hair and eyes, a non-human woman with fox like ears that looked to be in her 30's, a non-human man that was missing a ear which left him with one bear like ear on the top of his head, a teenage boy with yellow hair and no other defining features, a woman in her 20's with long white hair and finally a girl no more than 15 years old. As Mike finished looking the over the slave manger spoke

"They are all level 2 and the price is 18.000 for all of them"

Mike gave a nod and decisively spoke

"We'll take them"

Mike paid the slave manger and walked out of the slave shop with the six new slaves as he gestured for the girls to keep an eye on them as they walked towards their new barracks, on the way there they attracted some attention but not too much so the journey passed smoothly, soon the arrived at the barracks and walked inside, the barracks had already been fixed up so now the roof and walls had no more holes and there was even some simple furniture, Mike pulled up a chair and sat down before he began spinning the knife around while looking at the new slaves that were lined up in front of him, some of them had dead eyes while others showed some will

'Well that doesn't matter, they'll be my loyal servant in a bit anyway…'

"Umm… Master"

Mike looked over at the one that spoke, it was the young girl that was no more than 15 years old, she had tears in her eyes as she spoke

"Lina will do her best… so please don't be mean"

Mike stopped spinning the knife and stood up before he walked in front of the girl and kneeled down before he patted her on the head as he spoke

"Don't worry I won't ask you to do something you can't do"

The young girl wiped her tears and gave a nod, then Mike asked her

"Can I see your hand?"

"Sure!"

The young girl held her hand out to Mike that drew the knife

"This won't hurt a bit…"

Mike then poked her finger with the knife making sure that it would not hurt

"Wow it didn't hurt… But why did you---"

"Don't worry it'll make sense in a bit"

Mike patted her on the head again before he stood up and walked in front of the next one in the line, this was the non-human man with only one ear, his eyes were dead so when Mike asked for his hand he obeyed at once, after poking his finger Mike moved on to the next one that was a woman in her 20's with long white hair, it looked like she had some will left in her

"Give me your hand"

She gave a snort and ignored Mike, Mike gave a smile and spun the knife around at a very fast speed before he spun it past her face leaving a shallow cut on her cheek, then he walked to the next person that was a teenage girl with short brown hair, she obeyed him and gave him her hand before Mike poked her finger with the knife, next were the man in his late 20's with blue hair and eyes, he also gave his hand when Mike commanded it, next were the non-human woman in her 30's

"Your hand"

She gave a chuckle before she asked in a lewd tone

"Are you sure you don't want my mouth instead~?"

"Yeah, now be a good girl and give me your hand before I scar you face."

"Boo~"

She gave her hand and Mike quickly poked her finger with the knife before he moved onto the next person and last person, the teenager with yellow hair, before Mike asked him he held his hand forwards, Mike gave a smile and quickly poked his finger with the knife, then he walked back to his chair and sat down again and looked over the six new slaves once more before he showed a wide smile and spoke

"[Control]"

Then it seemed like the light in the building dimmed slightly as the six slave's eyes turned dim for a moment before they all kneeled down and spoke in unison

A red light flashed through Mike's eyes as his already wide smile widened slightly, finely he had taken his first step towards building his very own army

"Stand"

The new servants obeyed him and stood up, then Mike looked them over once more before he cleared his throat and pointed to Julie

"That's your mistress, be sure to be respectful towards her"
