Ace Hollywood

Chapter 10 3 Calls = Hollywood

Daniel and Tracy had lunch together. UTA is still a junior in several Hollywood agencies. It was established in 1991. Compared with CAA in 1975 and WME earlier, it is still a child.

Even though the kid recently poached CAA's corner, it still looks too skinny.

Because it's small, word travels fast, and gossip about Tracy's lunch with a super handsome guy is well known.

Of course, Melissa's place is also very popular, but she doesn't talk too much.

...

Daniel returned to the rental house a little tired.

Recently, his neighbors have more opportunities to meet him. From time to time, he can see the blonde girl from Chicago, with a bulging back and a curvy body.

If it was another time, Daniel would not mind having a beautiful encounter. He is not a loveist himself, and he has never been in love or married in his two lifetimes combined. But Tracy had just "advised" him not to be too sentimental, and he had been pretty tired lately.

So, beautiful girl, go to your bald producer, he has a part, and a little matchstick.

Daniel thought badly.

During this period of time, he was overwhelmed and dazzled. First, there was a character that fell from the sky, and then there was a big manager with an A-list star, and a management contract.

He would have to wonder if the world had conspired against him.

But it was also true that he was physically and mentally exhausted. Daniel took off his clothes and went into the bathroom, where the hot steam enveloped his body.

ring ring ring...

The dilapidated old telephone rang unwillingly.

Daniel had to come out wrapped in a towel to answer the phone, his hair was still wet, and water dripped down his smooth muscles.

"This is Daniel."

"Of course I know it's you, Mr. whose heart was eaten by a dog."

Daniel was taken aback for a moment, but soon there was a burst of joy.

"Mark, why did you call me?"

"Are you expected to call me?" Mark was obviously very angry.

Daniel lay comfortably on the sofa, "Okay ok, it's my fault, I just thought it would be better for you to see me in the movie theater, wouldn't that be cool?"

Mark Vaughan, a friend of Daniel and David, was a middle school and elementary school classmate. Only later, Mark's father speculated in the stock market and made a lot of money, and the family moved to Seattle to live with his grandfather.

Although the development of the two sides was completely different, Mark was admitted to Stanford University, and Daniel and David could only eat and drink at the hot dog shop, but the young feelings did not dissipate.

Obviously, this time Mark learned about Daniel's movements from David.

"Danny, can you come to see me at Stanford?" Mark just pretended to be angry, and after Daniel begged for mercy, he naturally let him go, "We haven't seen each other for two years."

"Oh, Mark, what a coincidence, I was just about to sign an agent, Johnny Depp, you know? The same agent as him."

"It's frustrating," Mark said lowly. "I'm too busy working on a piece of software, or I'd be in Los Angeles. Oh, by the way, who were you talking about? Johnny what? Sorry,

I really haven't heard of it. But it sounds like a big star. "

Daniel rubbed his forehead, saying that a Hollywood star to a computer guy is a bit unreliable.

The two men had to postpone their meeting regrettably, but each described their work to the other with great interest, and it sounded like they were particularly interested in their brother's career.

However, God knows what is HTML language and what is XML, Daniel just echoed the enthusiastic Mark. But Mark also seemed a little absent-minded when he told stories about Universal City.

Well, before dawn, the two ended the call contentedly.

However, this was not the last call from Daniel this evening.

Allie Larter called Daniel just after the clock struck twelve.

When Daniel picked it up, Ellie was crying.

His first reaction was not that Allie had been stimulated, but also felt that he had encountered a ghost crying in the middle of the night.

"Ellie? Ellie? Are you okay?"

Daniel tried his best to make his voice softer and more careful.

I cried on and off for twenty minutes on the phone.

"Ellie, where are you, do you need to come out for a drink?" Daniel didn't speak again until Ellie's voice stopped.

"Daniel," Ellie's tone was full of weakness, "I just got the leading actress in a new movie."

Daniel was stunned, and he responded with some hesitation, "This, isn't this good news?"

"But I got that goddamn producer with me in exchange, he's older than my dad, it's disgusting. But the agent told me that if I say no, there's no way I'll get the opportunity There are tons of girls queuing up to get into his bed. Oh that's unbelievable, my grandma's granddaughter is getting sex for a role, God, she'd jump out of the cemetery if she found out."

Ellie started crying again.

Daniel didn't know how to comfort her.

He had just heard about black Hollywood from Tracy today, but after all, he hadn't experienced it personally, and he hadn't experienced it yet. But Ellie's phone call completely ruined the good mood of Mark's call.

This young girl who worked hard and hoped to succeed finally took this step.

So many people in Hollywood are going this route that it doesn't even have to be covered up, and if a female star gets into a director's or producer's house, isn't that the normal thing to do.

Ellie was sobbing as she talked about her mental journey. When her agent told her, she was so angry and felt so incredible, but when she saw with her own eyes some unpopular female stars trying to recommend themselves as pillow seats, she was confused. Don't these people have no self-love, willing to accompany those bald guys who are older than their father for a role.

Her agent spoke to her in much the same way as Tracy had said. But when you say this to girls, you need to be more specific, because there are too many examples. For example, a certain female star once accompanied almost the entire crew in order to add drama and make herself more attractive.

Every Hollywood rookie has this lesson. It's just that Tracy taught it early, and Ellie's manager didn't tell her about it until it was too late.

"Ellie, I really don't know how to tell you," the phone fell silent, and Daniel knew he had to speak, otherwise he might lose this friend, "But, people had better not regret it, and try not to go Suspect."

"You know what I mean? No matter what you do, even if it is murder and arson, you have a moral and legal responsibility to pay, but if you do it, you can't go back, so don't spend it on it Extra unwanted emotions."

"Ellie, everyone is entitled to choose their own path, you just... take what you have in exchange for what you want, as long as you think it's worth it, even if you don't think it's worth it but you've already done it, then Just don't torture yourself for it."

"Girl, you just want to be more successful."

At the end of Daniel's speech, his tone was like that of a priest. He hopes to save Ellie from her self-confusion, and also hopes that he can be rescued.

There was still silence on the phone, and if it wasn't for the sobbing sound still coming from the other side, he would have wondered if Ellie had fallen asleep.

"Thank you, Danny, thank you."

Daniel breathed a sigh of relief, "Listen, Ellie, go get a good night's sleep, and then grasp every role well, you will succeed."

When Daniel lay on the bed again, the exhaustion in his heart could not be increased.

Mark's enthusiasm for those cold computer terms made him even more envious. He even had a little doubt whether it was right for him to choose to enter the industry again. But soon this sign was strangled by him.

Yes, don't doubt yourself, don't doubt your choices.

Keep moving forward, only keep moving forward!

Daniel took a deep breath and buried his head in the big pillow.

And the phone rang again.
