A Failure's hopeful Journey

You Xi Wang lost consciousness after the pain subsided. He woke up several hours later as his enhanced body now had better recovery prowess. The system spoke: [Master, congratulations for passing through the treatment. You have now entered the peak level of the body formation realm. You can now start perceiving the spiritual energy in the surroundings and break through the next level.]

You Xi Wang first felt the changes in his body and then he saw himself covered in an oily black substance which was smearing his clothes, he scrunched his nose and ran to the bathroom, after he was done changing himself in a new set of training clothes he walked out and mopped the floor and then he sat down in the lotus position once more.

'System, how long has it been since the seclusion began?' he asked the system as he has lost count because of his focus and pain.

The system replied: [Master. It has been ten days since the seclusion began. Now would you stop wasting time and get on with spirit formation already, master.]

You Xi Wang said: "I don't like your tone, but I really don't want to waste my time after you."

[Weakling] sneered the system, but You Xi Wang only felt indulgent and let out a big sigh as he closed his eyes to focus on cultivation again. He focused his spiritual energy to concentrate on the center of his brows. This place was where the spirit root or pineal gland was located. You Xi Wang focused and the spiritual energy entered the spirit root expanding it in size first and when it was big enough to explode a bulge was formed on You Xi Wang's forehead as if a horn was about to come out from there.

The spiritual root stopped expanding and compressed the more it is compressed, the purer the spiritual energy it can refine. You Xiwang focused his all and the system was also lending a hand to him and infused a little amount of soul power in the spirit root, making it more compressed. From the outside, it looked like a quinoa seed, but on the inside was a raging five-colored pond. This pool is called the pool of element source. Everyone usually has one or two color ponds while a founder member of the Council of Metropia had three colors and he was hailed as the strongest cultivator in the world.

You Xiwang had five splendid colors which means he can feel and had an affinity towards all five elements in the world. Metropia had five elements, namely: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Lightening. And four laws: Time, Space, Life, and Death. Rules can be mastered only in the Nirvana Realm. The system predicted that a huge phenomenon will occur and it will attract unwanted attention from the elements of the dark forces. The system created a barrier of soul energy around You Xi Wang to stop the breakthrough to be witnessed by the strong entities of this world.

The system also notified You Family to start the concealment array of the mansion to avoid all the ruckus. You say that system is very meticulous regarding stuff like this and his predictions were spot on.

The pond inside You Xiwang's spirit root had now settled down, but a mist slowly formed and floated over the pond. This mist was soul energy, it was not an element and neither a rule. It was an energy that can purify everything you absorb from your surrounding. People with soul energy are very rare in this world, and this was the reason they hid their talents from others.

You Xiwang's spirit root started absorbing the spiritual energy from the surroundings and tiny cracks started emerging over the surface. These cracks were the sign that You Xi Wang had finish decalcifying the spirit root and it is now open.

'CRACK' a sound was heard in You Xi Wang's mind. He had broken through the spirit formation realm and a five-colored halo appeared around him and the sky outside the training room also turned into five colors rainbow shocking everyone in the mansion.

Chen Qianbei and You Zhichi were holding a meeting regarding some matters of Tianlong Technologies, both of them were startled when the spiritual energy in the surroundings went erratic and then suddenly harmonized again, Five colored mist covered the whole mansion but thanks to the concealment array it looked normal from the outside.

You Naixin ran towards the epicenter of the phenomenon, she reached the room where You Xi Wang was cultivating. She had a prideful look when she realized who and what caused this phenomenon, but just as she was elated, something happened. The five-colored mist flowed inside the room at a quick speed. She became concerned as she was worried that if You Xi Wang absorbed all this spiritual mist, he might injure himself as his Spiritual pathways were narrower than the average.

Just as she was about to barge in You Zhichi and Chen Qianbei appeared at her side, they saw You Naixin was about to barge inside the room, You Zhichi held her hand and gave her an assuring glance and said: "Don't worry Granny Xin he is fine, trust him."

You Naixin did not believe her and said: "Zhichi, your brother was born with narrower spiritual pathways. He should not be absorbing all this spiritual mist, he will injure himself or worse cripple his martial potential. We need to stop him. Let go of my hand, dear, please."

Chen Qianbei joined in the conversation and spoke softly: "Elder Xin, Xiwang is a soul energy practitioner, do not worry, he told me before entering the seclusion that, he will expand his spiritual pathways by using soul energy, have some faith in him and he will not fail you."

You Naixin was reluctant to agree, but Chen Qianbei was one realm stronger than her, she had no choice but to agree with them, but she adamantly stated that she will guard the door until You Xi Wang comes out by himself and will not hesitate from breaking in, in case something bad happened.

For the next four days, You Xi Wang did nothing other than nurturing his body with five elements of spiritual energy. He started with his bones making them all shine with a five colored glint, then his blood making it purer and vigorous, then his veins by providing them endurance, then his brain enhancing his intelligence, his sensory organs honing them to the peak, his flesh making it clearer and stronger as if made of jade, lastly he focused the leftover spiritual energy onto his spirit root making it grow from the size of a quinoa seed to a pumpkin seed but the inside of the seed was clearer than before.

Time passed in a blink and You Xi Wang stayed immersed in amassing the spirit energy inside his spirit root. On the last day of his seclusion, the pond inside his spirit root grew ten times the size it was initially. This signified his breakthrough to level two of spirit formation realms.

You Xiwang opened his eyes and five vibrant colors shone inside his pupils. He stood up and entered the bathroom, he took a shower before he walked towards the door and opened it, and walked out. You Naixin, who was meditating outside noticed the clicking sound of the door and immediately sprang up in alert. She calmed down when she found You Xi Wang standing in front of her while smiling sheepishly.

"Granny Xin, it has been hard on you." he became warm in his heart that his grandma was meditating outside as she was concerned over his well being. He walked up and bent down slightly as he hugged her. He teased her again: "Granny, I am a head taller than you now. You look even cuter now." his words acted like a foot stepping on a cats tail and You Naixin grabbed and twisted his ear with a smirk on her face as she said: "brat you are still my grandson and I am going to spank you even if you become a father and your kids are as big as you." the duo kept playing the teasing game for some time and suddenly You Naixin got emotional which made tears form in her eyes, You Xiwang asked her what happened and she said while wiping her tears: "You reminded of your parents and that's all. I am alright."

"Granny, call everyone in the main hall, please. I want to know the progress of our plans," said You Xi Wang as his demeanor changed from a pampered child to that of a King.
