A Failure's hopeful Journey

Two days after the party banquet You Xi Wang was now sitting on his throne. His aura was that of a monarch. Beside him on the guardian's chair sat his sister, You Zhichi. Today, among the elders a few extra chairs were placed for the 'allies' to sit down. 

You Xi Wang's maternal grandparents and his uncle were sitting among the ranks. Mu QIngling sat beside You Naixin and Chen Qianbei stood behind the two. The youth forces of the You Family stood in the center of the gathering hall. Everyone was dressed in their battle armor, ready to rush to the Croma City and destroy the Mirai Group.

You Xi Wang spoke, "At first I wanted to allow the core formation disciples in the family but not anymore. I will lead the phantoms inside the office building and dealt with Edward Colt. Building. The other primal soul cultivators will attack the Colt family household. You all have the level five space locking arrays in your hand. Deploy it before you infiltrate the place. Use some people to clear any fish escaping the net. The rest get in and kill. There is also a sound isolation array among the three disks I handed to you guys. As for the third array, it is a detection array. Use it first before entering to scout if any Nirvana Rebirth Realm cultivator is hiding inside the Colt Family. Do you have any questions?"

"No, Young Master."  The crowd shouted loud in response to his call. You Xi Wang stood up from his throne. The elders also stood up. You Xi Wang spoke at this moment, "Let's go, avenge our grievance."

Then he walked out of the gathering hall. The others also dispersed to regroup once more and talk about a detailed plan. You Xi Wang left the responsibility of this team to You Naixin and his maternal grandfather. While in his team You Zhichi and Chen Qianbei were the two more Primal Soul Realm cultivators other than him. Chen Qianbei was the second in command. Fenny was playing the technical helper this time around. She had already prepared some very interesting weapons for the family to be used in the raid.

In front of You Xi Wang, Emily, Susan, and Petra stood with a smile on their faces. Susan took the lead and said, "You go ahead and deal with these people carefully okay?"

You Xi Wang smiled and nodded to her. The other two people also spoke such words and got the same reaction from the boy. They understood that at this moment he wanted to calm his mindset to deal with the people in the glass building. Only then can this plan go unfretted. After the small talk, they all left the room to busy themselves with their work and distract their minds from worrying. Lest it affects You Xi Wang. Fenny and the other phantom team members also arrived at the You Mansion at this moment.

"You brats look better than you did back at my field." It was Chen Longxue, You Xi Wang's third maternal grandfather. He walked up to the 14 people with an unhurried pace and checked them all out from head to toe. He nodded to them with a smile.

Hercules and Neo both came forward and bowed, "Disciple(s) have seen master." the rest of the phantoms were surprised to see this. The two boys addressed Chen Longxue as Master and not senior. That meant they have been accepted by Chen Longxue to be his disciples during the training. 

Chen Longxue nodded again and asked, "Brats, how is your training going?"

The two replied simultaneously, "It is going smoothly, Master."

Chen Longxue started to chat with the group of people when You Xi Wang arrived with Maya behind him. He did not disturb them but stood aside and watched the whole process calmly. After half an hour Chen Longxue finished directing the people with some of their queries about mind cultivation or physical tampering. The old man glanced at You Xi Wang who watched the whole process without speaking a single word in between. He was smiling at the old man lightly. 

He spoke, "Third grandpa, are you not participating in the plan discussion?"

Chen Longxue shook his head and spoke with a  faint smile, "Xiao Wang, you know me. I am the muscle while your second grandfather is the brains."

You Xi Wang smiled along with him. After a casual small talk, the old veteran left. You Xi Wang took his friends to the guest hall of the mansion. He created a soul sense barrier around the room and asked Fenny, "Bro, is it done?"

Fenny nodded and with a wave of her hand, dozen of handguns came out of her space ring and placed on the table in the center. The guns looked like any normal handgun. Allan spoke up, "Bro Wang, what is special about these guns?"

Fenny spoke up before You ever could, "Big Bro Allan, I made these guns based on Elven tech. This is exclusive to our team only. Until it is actually in production. This gun is called, PH-Sonic. The phasor beam shot from it is only as fast as the speed of sound. I have used sound cancellation arrays to make it completely silent. Be careful when you use it. This is very powerful. If a Primal Soul Realm is shot in the head with this. That person will die for sure. Also, the ammunition is your spirit energy. The Elves were kind enough to provide us a spirit phasor converter blu print. You can either stuff ten spirit stones shaped like a bullet in the cartridge or directly circulate your energy inside. Do take note that spirit stones are equal to only one shot. So you get ten shots per cartridge. Be sure to change the cartridges after use."

The group was all surprised and shocked to see such advanced weapons for themselves. This was not what they expected when You Xi Wang called them over. After they all picked up a gun You Xi Wang began to talk to them about his plan for the infiltration and eradication of the Mirai Group. Everyone in the team had somehow experienced a loss at the hands of the Dark dwellers so they all accepted to participate in the mission. They did not hesitate. 

Fenny spoke as You Xi Wang's briefing stopped, "This is the layout of the office build where the HQ of the Mirai Group is located. You all better memorize every nook and cranny of this place. Even after having this, we cannot be sure of the security measures they may have implemented inside. So don't lower your guard at all. You all will not be using your Holo-phones during the raid. Only the special com set you will be given is to be used. If you are found to be having any communication device in possession during the raid or after the Holo-phones have been shut down and stored. You will be killed right then and there. I hope none of you let us down. Phantoms don't need ill-obedient people. If you have any objections then please walk clear of us now."

The group of people did not expect the rules in the phantom squad to be so difficult but they did not resist and followed the rules set by Fenny. The original Phantom squad had always used such rules and thus they were not surprised or awkward. They just texted home about a trip to celebrate and rest and handed over the Holo-phones to Fenny. The others also quickly followed their lead and did the same.

The team was set, the preparations were done. All they had to do now was to erase Edward Colt and the dark dwellers inside the Colt family. This was what You XI Wang had wanted to from the moment he found out about Edward Colt's scheme against his parents. He wanted to calm himself but the blood lust made it very difficult for him. At first, he wanted to seclude him but then decided to do the contrary and came to the race track behind the Celestial Motors. He took his Countach Vehicle to the start line and started to drive the car at its fastest around the track. 

It was unknown how many laps he had done by now. Yet his blood lust still did not recede. At this moment he heard a voice in his helmet. 

"Gougou, calm down..."
