A Failure's hopeful Journey

You Xi Wang glanced at the general and spoke, "Are you sure about what you said just now?" his tone was calm, a faint smile rested on his lips. The general sensed something and hesitated before answering. He decided to change the topic and pursue beauty later. He spoke, "Who is the leader of your team? Come, let's fight. See who is stronger?"

You Xi Wang spoke, "Let's fight." he made it clear that he was the leader of this team. The general nodded and beckoned him with his hand to come on. They were thirty feet apart. You Xi Wang did not hesitate even for a second. 

He used his azure dragon steps and with one step he appeared next to the general. He spoke with a smile, "You will regret it." 

The general did not even have the time to think before he felt a strong impact coming from his waist. You Xi Wang's knee was connected to the general's waist. The armor provided him with some protection but the impact still made him retreat five steps. You Xi Wang stated, "Hmm, some strength you have there."

The general was not given the time to counter. You Xi Wang flashed to his side. A brawler glove covered his hand and the fist connected to his right temple. The general felt a little dizzy, retreated again trying to find his bearing.

You Xi Wang caught up again, a cold dagger appeared in his hand. The armor was strong but the design followed along the traditional lines. The joints still had some gaps inside them. The dagger was aimed straight at the gap on the shoulder joint. The dagger was enshrouded with all attribute spirit energy. It pierced through the armor like a hot knife through butter. You Xi Wang did not stop at stabbing. He twisted the blade as it was inside the shoulder. 

The general screamed, "ARGHHHH"

The queen stood at the sidelines in shock. She never expected this young man to be so lethal. She couldn't help but ask, "How old is he to be this fierce?"

Yuki spoke indifferently, "16 years and 5 months old."

The queen opened her eyes wide and her jaw fell down. She could not understand how could such a young person be so fierce and he was the captain of this team too. The team did not pay attention to her shock struck expression. They all watched as the battle played on the field. The queen was still stuck in a daze. She only woke up when she heard another scream from the general.

You Xi Wang was holding onto the general's leg and it was twisted at a weird angle. Apparently, while the queen was shocked. The general kicked You Xi Wang in retaliation and the boy grabbed hold of his leg. Kicked the general in his other leg, made him fall down on his ass, and then with a smile slowly twisted the leg. He did it slowly because he wanted the general to feel the pain. The muscles ruptured first, then the veins collapsed, and finally, the bone fractured in multiple places. 

You Xi Wang let go of the broken leg. The general's eyes turned red. He yelled, "Bastard, I will kill you. Your friends, your family. I will kill them all." his voice echoed in the whole city. The people in the palace heard it. Some guards came over when they heard the general yelling. The five guard team saw that the general was lying down on the ground. They quickly picked up their phasor guns and aimed them at You Xi Wang. Before they could speak or react five ice blades formed in front of their throats. Any slightest moment and Maya would kill them.

You Xi Wang spoke, "If you do not want to die the most horrible death. Then shut up and watch or leave." as soon as he finished talking a light flashed. You Xi Wang took three steps back. His left shoulder had a hole in it. His face did not change expression. The team did not react. You Zhichi spoke, "Your majesty, I apologize but, there will be bloodshed. If you are faint-hearted. You should leave. Also, the next time someone interferes, we will take a shot. You Don't want to be at the odds with us."

You Xi Wang's figure vanished and he appeared on a high tower in the palace. This high tower was the location from where the shot was made. You Xi Wang spoke in a cold voice, "As expected of a dark elf. Sneaky like a rat." 

On the tower stood an elf with a dark complexion. He was surprised to see the boy appear here. As the distance of the high tower from the training ground was 500 meters. You Xi Wang came here in one second. He snapped out of the daze and found the whole world spinning. He then saw a headless body. Then he thought, "That's my body..." and his consciousness faded. A fountain of blood erupted from the body where the neck was slashed. 

You Xi Wang again used shadow travel and appeared on the training field. His face had some drops of blood staining it. He spoke to the general in a cold voice, "You wanted to marry my sister? Are you worth it? They told me you are the leader of the warrior elves. Hmmm, not much of a warrior."

He walked forward to the general and the latter crawled away from You Xi Wang. The general saw the stains of blood on his face and realized that You Xi wang killed his sniper guard. He was really scared now. His sniper guard was an elite but You Xi Wang killed him in a blink. He also realized that the woman whom he tried to take was not his companion but his sister. He regretted being blinded by the beauty. He spoke in a trembling voice, "Forgive me, please forgive me."

You Xi Wang chuckled and said, "You dared to utter shit about my sister. My family, my friends, and you expect me to spare you so easily? This is just the starting." his figure flashed and he appeared next to the general. You Xi Wang kneeled down on one leg and before the general could utter. He took out his star headed spear and stabbed it in General's already immobile hand. The palm was now nailed to the ground. The general struggled vigorously he used his right hand to punch You Xi Wang but the position he was lying in did not allow him to put any force behind it. Then he took out a gun from his space array on his thigh. He pointed the barrel at the general's arm.

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG...

The boy shot the general five times in the arm. At such a close distance the armor did not have much effect against the special bullets covered in the all attribute spirit energy. The general kept screaming in pain. The people who heard these screams were shivering. The whole palace was quiet. They did not dare to speak anything. The general was an unkempt man. Who would always do everything based on his mood. He was upright but at the same time unrestrained and today his lose restraint made him pay the price. 

You Xi Wang took out Purgatory and unsheathed the sword. The general saw a scene of endless massacre behind You Xi Wang. It was the phenomena created by the black phoenix spirit inside the sword. You Xi Wang willed the black fire poison wisps to drill inside the holes. Then he sheathed back the sword and store it on his waist. The poison slowly started to burn and corrode the General's arm. The person kept lying on the ground, screaming and struggling in pain as You Xi Wang watched him with a serene expression on his face. 

Fenny spoke, "Big Sis, I sometimes think that this boy has a mental problem. One moment he is gentle and another moment he is a sadist. It gives me the creeps, you know."

You Zhichi smiled and shook her head. She knew that her brother only acted like this when he faced people who disrespected his family. She understood her brother's thought and favored it as well. To them family was something sacred. This was something they were instilled with from childhood. Children of the family would grow up together while being treated equally. You Xi Wang was loved by all because he was the youngest and also the weaker one. He was unable to keep up with the equal treatment in the family. Yet today he is the pillar of the family. This was all possible because of the love and car every children was showered with when they were young. This bond between them was something that was garnered by both sides. Otherwise, things could have been totally different today. 

The general yelled as the flame poison drilled through his veins and arm. The poison thoroughly corroded his arm and was about to invade the torso You Xi Wang again took out the sword. The sword trembled as if excited to reap a new life. You Xi Wang caressed the blade and said, "Calm down, their will be more opportunities. Though you can have his arm."

A strong sword intent formed in front of him and slashed at the general's arm and detached it completely from the body. You Xi Wang spoke to the screaming victim, "Quiet, did you see me screaming like a wimp when I was shot? Look I still have a hole in my shoulder." as he was speaking the dark smoke wisps from the sword started to erase the detached arm. Yes, you read it right. The arm was erased, destroyed on the partical level. 

You Zhichi spoke in surprise, "He invoked Asura spirit mode of the sword. When did he comprehend that?" her voice was very low only some one extremely close to him could hear it. Yuki was standing near her and asked anxiously, "Big sis, what is this Asura spirit mode?"

A smile surfaced on her face and she replied, "The dark phoenix when unlocks intelligence becomes asura spirit. The weapon is now sentinal with Gougou as its master. The sword grows with the master. As gougou grows in future so would the sword."

Yuki nodded feeling that the sword that could level up by itself was very cool.
